| | Last night me and my Brother were playing baseball in our front yard. I threw a pop-up and it bounced of the palm of his mit right into his forehead! He said it didn't hurt much last night, but this morning he had stich marks on his head where the baseball hit him  . Then this morning we had to go to church, and when he walked by this one guy, he started laughing! Now all my relitaves are going to be laughing today because it's my birthday today. Just something funny that I wanted to share. |

Lol, that's funny. He must have had his mitt close to his head for the ball to bounce and hit his head. I haven't had that happen to me in my experiences of playing catch. Don't be too harsh on your brother, he may try to get the same thing to happen to you. Enjoy your birthday and send me some cake!

The last time I did something like that, I bled for about half an hour. (The ball hit me right on the outside corner of my eyebrow - pretty thin skin there, so it didn't take much.) You can bet that I was more careful to actually *catch* the ball after that *grins*

hee hee, When I was in a league, I was always good at avoiding pitches that were too far inside, then the one time all season I couldn't avoid it it was from the fastest pitcher in the league. It hit me right in the leg and I could barely walk to first base, good times.

I've seen a few cases after where a ball hits a poor persons head, a swollen bump comes up for a few days.

This happened many years ago... My older brother was playing basebaell with his friends in grade 8. One guy with an metal bat was up with a strike and two balls, and my brother was up next to bat. I forget what happened exactly but the guy at bat hit a near homer, threw his bat like it was on fire and took off running; unfortunately the bat hit my brother square to the shins... yeouch! He walked funny for a while.

The Night I Stayed Awake.
(really awesome!) (4) I go to bed at 1 o'clock. Really tired. Some time passes. I check my watch. Then I experienced
a true "WHAT THE HELL!?" moment. IT WAS 3:44 AM. How the hell it was possible for such time to

Baseball's Sad Fans
The state of Baseball (1) Well here it is just May 26th and my Favorit baseball team The NY Mets are playing like a bunch of
3rd graders. This posting is not to fuss and fight of that but Base ball in General. You have so
many players making so very much money now a days it isnt even funny. And what do we get as a fan?
ZIPPO. Not too many years ago a player was lucky to make 2 million per season, and he would play

How Do You Pass The Time At Night Now?
(9) The hardest times for me after a breakup are the lonely nights at the apartment we once shared.
Four and half years and now I'm back to solo. It blows but it wasn't a complete shock. PS

WIERD!!! (4) Here are a couple of Experiences I've had at night. I was 2 years old living in British
Columbia, Canada. I lived in a two story house, all of the bedrooms where we slept were upstairs. My
parents told me that I slept in their room in a crib right beside the window, they also said that if
I stood up, I could look outside and see our front door. Not many people remember what happened when
they were at the age of 2, but this is one very vivid memory that I have yet to forget. It was late

Soccer Injury
need advice (6) Last saturday I was playing soccer with my mates for our club and some *bottom* put his foot in my
calf while I was trying to cross the ball from left field. Anyway the referee did not see it as a
foul and called half time as the ball went out after it bounced off him. At that stage I was just in
pain and laying on the ground. Everyone went to the middle and huddled up and I get a call from my
coach/manager to walk it in so I get up and start limping to the group. At this stage I'm just

My Dream Last Night.
WEIRD (5) Ok. Well I don't usually remember my dreams, but this morning I did for some reason and it is
fading away fast! lol It was a WEIRD dream ok? First of all there was a snow bus...yes a snow
bus all right!? And there was me,my girl friend, and Joey from the show Friends...don't ask
me why he was there! But someone asked if Joey wanted to go on the snow bus and he was like
SURE! and then blah blah blah he finally got on and then the bus started skiing down the

A Mod Or Two To Cover The Night Life...
(8) I would suggest that maybe, trap17 tries to find some of our members that not only fit the bill for
a mod, but will be able to mod at night time. There are a few users like me that will stay up late
into the night (somtimes all night) reading and posting on the forums. Unfortunately, most of the
mods are usually not on this late. This could also hinder some of our members that live around the
world. It slows down the hosting requests, and catgories (such as the Tutorials section) that need
post approval. The moderators are a very important part of trap17, and they help....

(5) This is real experince One day i was sleeping in my bedroom.. and after 12 midnight ... i felt

2007 Baseball All Star Game
(1) Well Monday night, the 8th was the Home Run Derby in which 8 contestants dueled it out for the title
of Home Run King. Vladimir Guerrero won in the end with 17 home runs total. Alex Rios came in
second behind him. The first round was sort of slow at first but in the second round really heated
up with Rios hitting 12 home runs total. The game was held at AT&T park in San Francisco which is
next to McCovey Cove, named after a former San Francisco Giant, Willie McCovey. There were 300 to

Baseball Salaries
(11) Has anyone noticed the Major League Baseball salaries that have been given to free agents this
offseason? Gil Meche, an average pitcher who pitched for the Seattle Mariners, was given over
$12 million a season for the next five years. Unbelievable. I am not complaining that players
are getting paid too much- I think that players should seek every penny they can get, because
that's what we all would do. I am just frustrated about the system. Teams like my Pittsburgh
Pirates who play in a small-market city are stuck with sub-$40 million dollar payrolls, ....
What Happened To Mvp Baseball?
(1) Why is EA Sports no longer making MVP Baseball games? I bought the 2005 version and I thought it
was the best baseball game I ever played. I spent hours playing a Pirates season (I had to edit
their stats slightly, to make them not be so horrible /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle"
emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> ). I am assuming that EA Sports lost their
license to make Major League Baseball games for some reason or another. Does anyone know the

Twas on Last Night (20) ok, did any one else watch the Avatar movie on Nick last night? Personally, i dont think it was
worth the wait. I did think it was good though. Ive liked That show ever since the beginning, and

(2) Fight Night: Round 3 on the XBox 360 is probably one of the best boxing games every. The gameplay is
great and the graphics are phenominal. One time, my friends walked in the room when i was playing
and he dd not see the controller and he though that I was actually watching real boxing. Fight Night
also comes with the new "ESPN Classic" mode. You can relive the different rivalries of the past. You
can even play as Ali versus Frasier. Also, button mashers are not aloud in this game. It uses the

Getting Enough Sleep At Night
here's my advice (16) One thing I notice amoung today's youth is that teenagers don't get enough sleep at night.
Studies show, teenagers need at least nine hours of sleep every day. Some teenagers have even went
as far as bragging about their lack of sleep. Some teens think people who sleep are lazy, and waste
time. They are sometime subconsciously tricked into believing that. Well guess what: it's a
proven fact that A-students get 45 minutes more sleep on average than C-students. Lack of sleep is a
