| | I got Bart's PE builder from their site, and it runs perfectly.
When it finally gets done building the BartPE data, I copy it to a CD, and when that's done, I'm able to run it from inside Windows. The only problem is, it won't boot to the CD.
I've already gone into the BIOS and made sure that my computer was set to boot to CD, and I even tried other CDs, and I could boot from them fine.
I've tried making a disk from the files on Windows XP Pro SP2, and on Windows XP Home SP2.
When I run the builder, it always gives me one warning, saying that "building from an OEM version of Windows can mean trouble..." Then I looked that up on google, and they said to try using a Dell fix, and I tried that and it didn't work. I actually didn't think it would, either, because it wasn't a Dell disk that I used to build it.
I'm using the newest version of the PE builder.
If anyone has any advice at all, I'd appreciate it. |

and it is currently being referred to as "Goobuntu." Google has confirmed that they're doing
this, but not why or what it will be used for. There has been speculation- some people say it'll
just be for the Google employees, others think that it's to compete with Windows. Personally, I
hope that it's to compete with Windows....
Why Shadow Copy Isn't Working No More?

Here is the situation. I turned on shadow copy on my file server and it used to work when the file
server is also a DC. Now that it is no longer a DC and only a file server, the shadow copy
doesn't seems to work. When I right click on the shared folder on my client workstation and go
to properpties, I do not see the previous version tab available anymore. I went to check the
add/remove to verify if the previous version client has been uninstalled and it is still there. So
why isn't shadow copy work no more after we switch to a new domain. I would think that it sh...
Gprs Not Working In Windows.

My friend has a laptop running winxp sp2. he wanted to connect to the net using his cell and a GPRS
connection. now, he gets connected, as in the two blinking comps show in the system tray. but
nothing else happens. no webpage opens. i even tried a ping, tracert but no result. any ideas?
