like 468x60 banner & 88x33 banner button

88x31 pixels is a button, not banner FYI. I use photoshop for doing that and it is really easy and sophisticated. But Paintshop Pro is also supposed to be good. If you are looking for a free proggy, try GIMP. Search on googlue about GIMP and you will get it. Good luck.

Adobe Photoshop would be the best one. If you want to make a Flash banner and not familiar with Flash, then I'd recommend SwishMax for u, its real easy to use, You just download the software from www.swishmax.com , and start making your banner, The affects are already in there, you just choose the ones that u want to use, and thats it, It does everything else for u. Yea photoshop is a very good one. You can also try FireWorks. it is also a good one too.

I use MS Paint for nearly all of my buttons...I know it's crap with it is really handy to me I love to use it... It's easy and makes your button simple but great

(0) I plan on running a new league/ladder website in phpnuke and I need a really cool banner for the
site. the leagues is for FPS players and then overall theme is a dark grey
now the deminsions of
the banner should be 200x800 no bigger then 250x800 the width can be smaller to if needed I know how

Dont worry about a title because I aint that far into the site to
have a name for it yet. and I can always pop text into the artwork at anytime. You gotta love ulead
3d with all its plugins and 6000 fonts....

story about the theme but basically, my Battlefield: Pirates clan is making a small fraction for
Desert Combat called, The Dusty Pirates. the theme can be found here . If you can find some crazy
way of crossing the two (Pirates, modern warfare) than it would be awsome. One more thing, if you
use photoshop, I would ask if I could have the psd file just incase we change the name, so I would
