| | Excellent program...if you need it done and it's a simple task, VDub does it...fades, codec re-encoding, section removal, audio re-encoding, volume, brightness, contrast, hue, etc...
...I'm a big DivX/XviD nut and it's one program I could NOT live without (that and gspot, but I dunno the URL to it)...
...and the guy who made it actually responds to emails fairly quickly, so if you have issues he'll personally help if possible :-)
There's one out there (a "hack") that'll open MPEG2 so all you need to do is decode the video from a DVD to a VOB file then load it in and you can re-encode it to AVI DivX (it's how I make the DivX movies from my vids anyway :-)) |

I am constantly using this program. I have made subtitles for stuff when I was bored. Edited home movies. Hell, I sometimes even cut together movies for big marathons.  Im a geek and I know it. But I am a proud geek!

I could never use this program... always that I try to fix a subtitle it gives me an error... I just don't use it anymore... now I just rip dvds  ... no more avi to DVD!!!
