| | Just wondering the sports that you played in the past and present, and how you went/details in them.
Basketball - Point Guard or Forward. Played it in my late high school years (1998-2002) Preferred playing Forward and have a few Invidual Player Achievements and Team trophies from those years.
Cricket - Fast medium/No 8 bat. May have only played this for only 2 years at competitive level, didnt have the temperament or commitment to continue playing. I was told and I'll agree that I'm a bit of a slogger with the bat at times, thus batting at 8.
Soccer - Played only during my primary school years. Was one of few having to play for my normal age grade and the age grade up during my younger days.
Touch Football (non-contact rugby) - played mostly as a inter-school sport. May have been a quiet achiever in this sport, but did found it fast-paced and fun. |

I haven't really played any sport, but I enjoy skiing. It doesn't require a ton of energy, or make you sweat up a ton, but heck is it expensive (varying prices at differentmountains, plus all your gear), and in some cases, not that close to home (although Camelback, in Pennsylvania, claims that the 2 hour or so ride from NYC is short, and I agree).

I played basketball for seventh and half of eight grade, our team completely sucked so now I try to forget any and everything about me ever playing on the basketball team. I play ice hockey for fun up town with a bunch of other people and we get some really good games going. There's only been one major injury and thats when somebody get hit by a slapshot without wearing pads. I think he was on crutches the next day. Thats about all the sports I play, I'm not much into sports anymore and prefer to spend my time on the computer making websites, forums, and meeting people.

sports, pshwaa i dislike them with a passion, now soccer, on the other hand is not a sport, that is an art..lol so you can say i like soccer, i used to play soccer all the time during recess in elementaary school, until they banned all sports, since then ive hated ALL sports just because i couldn't play any, and it will always be that way too.... but the teams that we formed my team always picked the best players :-D the other team was all russians because they picked all of the russian players, and they generally lost.. lmao

I played JV in my sophmore year in high school and right now I'm playing indoor with my club team. basketball - quit after I got cut from the seventh grade team track - running the 800, 1600, and 3200 for the second year in a row. I have my first meet for the year tommorow baseball - I played it at a recreational level for about 11 years. Still love playing it, but I don't think I'm good enough to make the high school team

Alright...here's my history of a few sports I played (and in some cases still play) to date: Swimming - In my pre-teens/teens, I was a member of a local competitive swimming club and took part in many swim meets in the city. I wouldn't say that I was a fast swimmer, but I was fairly good. I think the only swimming stroke I struggled at was the butterfly. Still swim for leisure whenever I get the chance. Baseball - Got into this one at around the same time as the competitive swimming. Took part in the local Little League, but I really struggled offensively. At least my fielding skills were good, and I had a good throwing arm (My position was in the outfield). I gradually improved my hitting skills and became more confident in both aspects of my game, but I know for sure that would NEVER make a power hitter. Hockey - Never played the game professionally, but I took part in street hockey (large parking lot or neighbourhood street) with my friends. Apart from that, I also played some hockey on the canal near the university I attended with some friends who lived in the same dormitory. Basketaball - I took part in some local tournaments, and my ability was quite good at the time. No slam dunks, mind you, but I could do some great lay-ups. Still enjoy playing basketball even now.

In basketball I played as a forward up to Junior High. I still play basketball a lot just not for a team. In baseball I played on a team when I was just a little kid. I played in the outfield when I was playing baseball.

Lacrosse - I've played lacrosse for 2 years now and I still dont know much about it and I still suck in someways Golf - Usually a hockey players second best and second most favorite sport, and well I fit into the usual. I've been playing since I was eight and I'm pretty good, made my high schools team last year.

ok i have some questions about these sports that re considered sports.. for example,
NASCAR/MOTORCROSS..are these really sports? you're not doing anyhing except sitting and driving

strategic game, because it involves more thinking than actually doing, only thing you do is steer a

athletic? all they have to do is stand there and don't et anybody come through. Give me some SU...

My Own Sport - Skimsurfing
- Riding a Skimboard being towed Behind a Motorbike (3)
Hi everyone, I was down on holidays at the family farm and the constant rain stopped me from riding
my new motorbike around my track which was consequently full of water, like a giant puddle. Using my
initiative and the skim board my aunty got me for Christmas my brother and I went down to the
motorbike track which was full of water (as it is built in somewhat of a gully) and tied a rope to
the back of the bike. We videoed our fun and posted a short video of it on Youtube.

Thinking Of Designing A New High Energy Sport.
- New type of sport. (0)
Hi I was at a bar about a month ago and this has been nagging me for a while now. A lot of games
seem boring or rather lack the energy some people like. Hockey is ok but has low stores, and
sometimes the action goes back and forth like a tennis match. Soccer is a high energy game and very
interesting. Football is very popular. Anyways I am thinking of a new sport that consists of many
things that may gain the interest of sports fans. The base idea stays very close to soccer but
with a lot of differences. Now there will be a soccer type ball as apposed to a football o...
Is The Yoyo A Sport ?
- (14)
YoYos : QUOTE A yo-yo is a toy consisting of two equally sized and weighted discs of plastic,
wood, or metal, connected with an axle, around which string is wound. There is a slip knot at the
free end of the string, and, on a properly strung yo-yo, an uncut loop around the axle (known as a
looped slip-string) which allows it to spin freely, or "sleep" upon reaching the string's end.
When i was a lil boy i used to play yoyo , but it was just by throwing and getting back it to my
hand .... but i think yoyos are become an High-Tech . nowdays Yos (modern name of...
