| | Get rid of army system on trap17's main domain. Set up a hosting account specifically for army system. army.trap17.com or something. Then install IPB and army system on that. People that want to play can go there and register to play. Disable all posting and other junk on that forum and just enable army system. Set up a cron job to backup the database every day. This means the data base can be restored without affecting trap17. |

That should work. It would be too bad though if the two couldn’t share the same shout box. Still, I would like to see the bug fixed. In the mean time well, it is not up maybe I will get over my addiction. Probably not  .

I talked to Nilsc about this. The problem was that members will have to register again. And I also know that, most of the members started playing because they were already registered and were expected to click the army link and check out. But I doubt any new members will make that move. However, I was thinking of the same. Also, I had decided to get most of the mods off like Arcade, member bar, Kenka etc.. Mods really make it hard to upgrade the forums.. :-S. After about 2 months, I will be uprading the latest forum version available. I also tried linking the boards database. Everything worked fine except the fact that the templates information are stored somewhere in database too. So If I link the database, the templates really screw up the layout. also, If we decide to put only one small ad on boards (only for army), due to linking, I m afraid members might shift to this new board even for posting. I can understand that Army system is a wonderful game and even I was enjoying it. Infact, today I came online (7:15 AM) just to use any cash I have earned to purchase some defense weapons. But the screw up has really pissed me off... Also I think that these mods can be very dangerous and can also give illegal access. I don't want to leave any door open for exploitation.

how about making a site of a gme like this "army system" instead of forums..like koc.. but add maybe some better features.. but this would take a lot of time and would need some good programmers.

Im only posting because of the army system Besides, seperate hosting = more loss of immunity to exploiters with less hastle because of the less users and since it will be fresh... well I can see where this is going to go. NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. AS goes from this server, alot of people will stop posting! And that's bad!

well yeah its true you would lose the post for cash and troops but if you get rid of that and just increase the per 30 minutes and it shouldn't be really a problem but yeah it would take alot of work just to move and the people to keep tabs on it well they're alot of people on here and the most of the mods know how most of the army system works but its up to the man though.

Grrrr it's been reset again. It is getting really annoying for me now. Making a new domain specifically for the Army System wouldn't be a bad idea and I am up for it just as long as we don't get anymore annoyings bugs which mean we have to keep restarting.

And please, don't talk to me like I'm an idiot. It annoys me, so so much.

Army System Back up on Trap17 It looks like the army system is back up on trap17. This is good
because it will give more incentive to come here and post. I don’t really need web hosting any more
anway. I can create the content I want on the newmars wiki. However, I would like to maintain my
hosting anyway. Playing the army game at ipbgaming was fun but there was nothing to do between
your turns and hardly anyone posted over there. It is really a pain to go over they play for a bit

Is it me or has the Army System become less exciting? I don't even play at Kings of Chaos
anymore. The money, the soldiers, the turns. Everyone is like superman. Pleno, and me are like
gods. I even beat Florisid several times. And soon if you keep attacking people you turns, and
soldiers will run out. (Since you have to wait like 1200 weeks to get maybe 13 soldiers; whatever
you have upgrading your soldier reproduction to.) And like 1200 weeks to get more turns. So the Army
System needs to be taken offline, or either reseted because now its boring....

I couldn't find a way to reassign the mercenaries from untrained to attack or defense. Of
course you can buy them directly into the slots that you need, but Is it true that you can't
move the mercenary units around between categories like you can with your soldiers? The other
question is, if not, might that be a good addition to the game? Are these mercenaries such rabid

strategies for the Army System. I'll start off by posting a few, and you can post some after and
I'll add it to this post. 1 -- Avoid Getting Farmed Spend your money often, because if you
hoard too much, this makes you a prime target for potential attackers, and then you will lose most
of that money, if you're unable to properly defend. 2 -- More Soldiers, More Money The more
soldiers you have in your army determines how much money you make every 30 minutes...
