Apple has launched a preview version of the QuickTime 7 software for Windows. The standard version of the program can be downloaded for free; the pro version is $29.99. QuickTime 7 is the first mainstream solution capable of decoding H.264. H.264 is an MPEG-4 codec for high-quality video over a range of bandwidths, whether 3G mobile devices, video conferencing, DVD or broadcast quality HD TV. It has been adopted by both the Blu-ray Disc Association, of which Apple is a member, and the DVD Forum for use in next-generation high-definition DVDs. QuickTime also supports two dozen of the popular video and graphics formats and a dozen audio formats. QuickTime 7 Player can play up to 24 audio channels, including 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound, with new playback controls, including variable playback speed, jog shuttle, so you can adjust the speed at which you search through individual movie frames, and live resizing of the viewer window. It also features zero-configuration streaming for optimum stream quality and new AV controls to adjust audio balance and volume, bass and treble response, brightness, colour, contrast and tint. Apple recommends that you use QuickTime 7 for Windows Public Preview only for testing purposes. I actually think Quicktime is irritating. I always close it when it pops up. Ugh. It's so intrusive. It's like a thick-skinned dog always hounding you whenever you surf...  Want me to PAY for it? NO WAY.

Hmm... I never have problems with my quicktime. The only time it bugs me is when it asks if you want to upgrade to quicktime pro. Overall, I think that version 7 is the best release so far. AmeriBass

Spiced Apple (zuchinni) rings. (2) Some years ago I had this great recipe for using the big tougher zuchinni by turning them into
spiced apple rings. You know, those red things they often use in restuarants for a garnish on a

and one of the ingredients was cinniamon red hots, but that is all I remember. And they were

more corrupted files? if I were the OS I'd just skip those and copy the good ones, then prompt a

Does it make Vista a viable OS to upgrade to? (1) Has anyone actually been satisfied with the release of SP1 for Vista? Does it solve the problems

from that document, I'm actually surprised, appalled, and in a way, now wondering if Vista can

Issue With Windows Vista - Sound Card Acting Wierd [resolved]
Sound card doesnt recognize my 5.1 (4) For some strange reason My sound card doesn't seem play sound on my 5.1 properly. I've a
dual boot system. on XP its running properly. So I figure this is an issue with Vista only. My
sound card is recognized as Realtek HD audio. *(My motherboad is XFX 650i Ultra) Now whenever a
jack on the back-panel is unplugged or plugged in it shows and alert and gives an option window
under XP where I can select what I've put. It somewhat allows me to configure any pin to be a

"White Chocolate" - Updated with each version (11) I have been working on making a template for myspace that gets rid of all the nasty crap people put
all over. It does this by making the myspace minimilistic, so they can not add much stuff other then

Ctrl + C Will Not Work
Windows Xp Pro SP2 (17) I recently built a computer, everything seems to be alright with it, except one thing, CTRL + C just
