I need a tiny bit of help with some flash files. I have taken up a project in php that I did not expect would involve any flash editing, but I am dealing with already existing .swf files that make calls to various php files. Now, here's the situation: I don't have the .fla files, only .swf. So I need someone who has access to a flash decompiler who can possibly help me out. After decompiling the files, I require that all the links/calls to php files, which are made using relative paths/addresses, be changed to absolute paths, like change something.php to www.something.com/somefile.php . Then I need them recompiled. There are a few files for which the process needs to be repeated - if someone can offer to help me out on this, that would be wonderful. I am not entirely sure what I can do in return - maybe credits, or if you have a PP account we could discuss a payment. Please send me a PM or ping here if you have access to the necessary resources. Thing is, after Monday I can find myself a computer that has Windows (and therefore the necessary tools) on it, so this topic becomes null and void - cos I'll do then. But I'd really like to get this done before that, so if someone is feeling extraordinarily generous, please holler. Cheers, and thank you!

Flash Movie Decompiling
(3) hello. I am pretty new to flash. Just got Sothink SWF Decompiler 4.1 and Flash 8 and I would like
to edit a .swf movie. Of course, I used the Sothink SWF Decompiler to convert the .swf movie to .fla
and also to export the .swf's resource contents ( buttons, fonts, text, etc ). I am interested
to editing the buttons and texts and then rebuild back the .swf movie in order to use it. Ok, I
export the resource contents and I edit the texts and fonts but how do I rebuild back the whole .swf

Alternitives to root (0) Hi. Basically, the MovieClip(root) thing is dodgy at the best of times. Besides - it's not
recommended to use root at all. In fact, it's highly discouraged. I've seen plenty of posts
about this, but for the life of me, I can't find anything about what else I should use. What
alternative should I be using to access properties/mc's/etc from the root/parent time lines??

sometimes the buttons will load the wrong link. (9) Its weird but sometimes when you hit the forums or roster button on my flash banner it will load:

Getting Flash Images On A Site
(1) well, i don' t have a site yet, but about 6 months ago i made a template, with flash buttons and
all, with sound and everything i was so proud so i tryed to put em on there with a special code u

didn't work, so i asked around they said u can' t install them on a cpanel, u need ftp, so i

Exporting Transparent Images In Photoshop To Flash
Needed: Photoshop 7 or CS, Flash MX (4) First of all, it is important that you make sure the image you wish to export is on a transparent
layer. The transparent layer is a checkered background in photoshop. You can see this checkered
