Has Anyone Tried Hoodia? - a health food fad

monarch
No Really has anyone tried Hoodia? I found out about it on ebay. There are quite a few different products that contain hoodia. I have no Idea what brand to buy or if it is even worth the effort getting some. Well I still think the best way is to cut down on the carbs and but thats easier said than done. You know what I mean smile.gif

Hoodia is going to be another health food fad. Didn't you hear about the rave of acai berries? They used to be the newest thing and suddenly, they were replaced by another fad. Its almost like the increase in oxy-something cleaning products.

I bet these health food companies come up with new products to get people who don't normally show in health food stores to go in them. (Health food stores have many wonderful working products, but the average person would rather pay less for an unhealthy product than 3 times more for a healthy one).

I agree with all of the above. You can just google it and do some research about it and find the pros and cons of it. Diet and exercise is the true way to loose weight, not some pill from an african plant imo.

Some interesting info on enzymes (0)
Enzymes act as catalysts in living organisms which allow important chemical reactions to occur at
lower temperatures. They are not altered in the process and can be used in many reactions. Most of
the chemical reactions that occur in living organisms are regulated by enzymes and would happen much
slower without them. For example, without the digestive enzyme carboxypepdidase, it would take
seven years to digest a hamburger. Ethyl carbamate is a compound found in fermented beverages that

Lots of people cite chocolate as their favorite food, and even those who don't still love
it! Here is some information you may not have known about chocolate: Making chocolate:
Chocolate is made from cacao seeds. The seeds are harvested by hand and allowed to ferment. They
are then roasted and the nibs are ground into a paste called chocolate liquor which is made up of
cocoa butter and cocoa solids. Some chocolate liquor is pressed, separating the cocoa butter from
the cocoa solids. Milk, sugar, and extra cocoa butter is mixed with unpressed chocolate liqu....

I chanced upon a book called 'What Colour is Your Diet' by David Heber, which is about how
different colored foods can help to nourish different parts of your body. Red and pink fruits and
vegetables help protect the heart by controlling high blood pressure and protect against
circulatory problems resulting from diabetes. Examples of these fruits and vegetables include
watermelon, pink grapefruit, tomato, watermelon, strawberries, raspberries and beetroot. Green
fruits and vegetables help to protect the liver. They are common in everyday food and should not....

Hello, I would not consider myself healthy. I don't eat alot of fruits or vegetables; drink

but I don't gain any weight. My friend says I have an athletes motabalism, which is strange as I
don't have an athletic bone in my body. I personally think it may be my eating habit. I

  7. Eat Tomatoes For Good Health!
    (5)
Tomatoes are rich in fibre and Vitamins A and C. They are also cholesterol free. An average-sized
tomato weighing about 150gm has only 35 calories. New medical research suggests that lycopene, the
stuff that makes tomatoes red, may prevent several types of cancer such as lung, prostate, cervical,
digestive tract and breast. Cooked tomatoes have higher concentrations of lycopene than non-cooked
tomatoes. When you eat tomatoes which are cooked with a bit of olive oil, the nutrient aspects of

Hi I live in Canada and we have one of the best health care systems in the world. Yes I can go to a

non essential medical things are not covered. For example a guy got a pace maker implant and after a
while it broke though the skin and was hanging half way out. Well he wanted this fixed but because
it was classified as non essential they wanted a poor old retired man to pay $40,000 to fix it.
