if you read the fine print right below the signup page or in the toc you will see what the whole catch is about. You must sign up for one of their sponsers, which may be more than one. The sponsers are usually like signup for a creditcard and get it activated or something like that, its going to cost you money either way.

I was thinking about testing it out still.. One of there options of things go buy from there sponsor is ink... and you have to buy ink anyways.. so why not try. I'll just need to get 5 other people to do it with me.

they have one for canadians now too. the one i signed up on doesn't require any money because they are free trials. I did the efax one which is a free trial that you can cancel once the offer shows "complete". http://www.mp3players4free.com/default.aspx?r=161340you only have to do 1 free trial and then refer 5 people to do the same. Instead of ipod they give you $275 USD in paypal for canadians. For americans, they can choose.

THey have made one for the UK aswelll now but i think the principle is exactly the same, and the offers are really hard to complete!! You have pay something for all but one, and you need two to even finish your part of the task. Then getting another 5 people to do the same thing willl be really hard!!! I would'nt try it but heres my UK link anyway... Free Ipod UK!!!!

This is supposeldly real, because I've heard a lot of people who have signed up got their free ipod. The way the company makes money is simple. First, they get money from the ads they show. Second, those signups that they recieve have to do a free trial, which the company, for example, AOL, will pay them. Third, you have to refer 5 people, so for every person who signs up, refers 5 people, and those people refer 5 people which equals 25, and those 25 people refer 5 people, which becomes 125 and so forth. They can make millions of money! If you still don't believe it, go to www.wierd.com because they have an article on it!

ALthought I have never tried getting one from the site (freeipod.com) one of my friends did try, and complete the series of tasks. It took him about two weeks to do (getting people to sign up isn't as easy as it sounds). Then about two weeks post completion, an i-pod was in his mail box. I was amazed that he recieved anything personally. I'm a huge skeptic of these "deals", but apparently this one is legitiment.
