I would like to learn how to make custom PHP themes since i'm good at designing...
I would also like to learn some good scripts and suck for PHP and html any can help?

I found someone for you. This is the theme I'm using for my site at http://www.fightclub.trap17.com/phpBB2/ as well. The author is DoubleJ, and he made the one you see on his site. It's called "Glass", and it comes in several colours, so he's no newbie. Try registering, and asking for advice.
