Wow. This is a great tutorial. I'm sure this will benefit a lot of people in the GFXTrap forum.

I have one comment though, the rain will look better if its a LITTLE slower and if the rain falls in a straight line.

yes it is a basic tutorial, but the next step in this animation is to make the rain look like its hitting the text or the render itself in the forms of drops or splash its pretty good effect, but it takes a little practice to get them right though.

Open Adobe Photoshop . 1.)Ok, now let`s make new layer - Layer -> New -> Layer. 2.)Now
choose Paint Bucket Tool. that in gradient tool option. Push D to set colors to Black and White.
Fill your layer with black. 3.)Now go to Filtre -> Noise -> Add Noise... Folowing options -
4.)Now go to Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur Folowing options - 5.)Repeat step 1. - 4. few(i used
5) times. You will get few different layers with rain. Hide them all. To hide clik on eye.
6.)Now let`s go to Imagready. File -> Edit in Imageready / File -> Jump to -> Imagr....

Open an image of girl. QUOTE I used #FFB7BE. Now take out 9px soft brush (opacity 100%, flow
60%) and paint over the eye. Now pick clone stamp tool (size 13)and alt click this area: Drag it
over the top edge of eye 2 times (follow the line) Now take out smudge tool(soft, size 13, strength
60%) and drag down If your bottom edge is hardly seen, use burn tool to darken it a little. Create
new layer. Name it "line1" Now chose #451E06 as foreground color. Pick 3px soft brush, and draw line
like this: Pick 3px smudge tool and smudge down so it looks like this: Pick blur ....

Ok here is a tutorial to make a image with a animated scanner effect! ~*~*~Animated
