I find it interesting how many people with professed evolutionist/darwinist beliefs actually have morality issues and hang-ups that are based upon religious ideology regarding sex. To hear someone suggest one should refrain from sexual intercourse (or any sexual interaction) before marriage when they also believe that evolution is a fact of life is a conflict of belief systems. Marriage began as a God-ordained union between a man and woman and the first mention of marriage is found in the beginning of Genesis.
When viewing sex from an evolutionary standpoint, age is completely irrelevant. The only thing that is of relevance is propagation of the species. Morality has no place in evolution/darwinism; its place lies in religious concepts/dogmas. If a human is capable of reproduction then propagating the species to insure its survival is paramount no matter what chronological age the human may be.
Of course, if we observe various animal species we will also find them engaging in sexual play even before they are capable of reproduction. One good example is dogs. I have observed my own puppy humping pillows, stuffed animals and my other pets when it was only 3 months old. He's now about 6 moths old and he's still doing it though he is not capable of reproducing his own kind yet.
Humans are no different. If we accept evolution as fact instead of simply a belief, then to deny the sexual instincts of the human animal, no matter what its chronological age, is contrary to nature. To believe in both evolution and religious ideologies is a conflict and cannot be reconciled with each other. Remember, if dinosaurs existed millions of years ago before man then that would mean death before sin and you destroy the entire Bible. There would no longer be any original sin that occurred in the Garden of Eden. Without the original sin there would be no messiah to take away the sins of the world. Without morality and the sense of right and wrong based upon the teachings of the Bible then sex at any age is no problem.
If you believe evolution is nothing more than a fairy tale (as I do) then you can base whether or not you are prepared for a sexual relationship based upon Biblical teachings. It all depends on your perspective; are you looking at it from a Biblical or evolutionary standpoint? I am not going to answer this question as I believe if you take the time to analyze where you stand on this issue then you will be able to answer it yourself. And when in doubt, don't act. To base a decision on nothing and to act upon it may create more problems than it solves.
I got sore eyes after the first two paragraphs, but for those two, i totally agree with you. I can't believe this topic has gone from the word 'Relationship' to 'Sex' in a matter of few pages.

This is an absolutely hilarious post. Bashing evolution theory to support creationism. HILARIOUS. Evolution does not mean propogation of the species... LOL. Evolution is "survival of the fittest". Evolution is about natural selection which means only the strongest or most adaptable will survive.
In terms of sex and marriage, I agree that sex before marriage is definately a religious thing. Which is also why many people don't care about premarital sex. It is something that most people don't have any second thought about. But, you are arguing that AGE has something to do with religious beliefs and if one believes in evolution, AGE cannot be a factor in choosing a mate.
You are talking about evolution as simply being the "instinct" to procreate and propogate the species. Well, let's go with this. The "instinct" you speak of exists. There is an instinct to procreate but that does not mean they will choose anyone who is willing. People (and creatures), have the instinct to choose the best suitible mate. This means that they will NOT choose an underage child to procreate with. They will choose a mate that is of child bearing age. This means anyone after puberty not before. So, age DOES matter considering most people don't hit puberty after only "3 months old".
Now, moving on to your claim that religion is the source of morality and right and wrong. This is absolutely ridiculous. Morals are defined by SOCIETY. Yes, in some societies, religion plays a big role in defining morality. But, religion and society are not the SOURCE of morality. Religion and society simply defines WHAT rules you should follow and what is right and wrong.
The source of morality can be argued that it is a natural evolution of societal groups. As people evolved and started living together, they required rules in order to function together. These rules are what defined morality. Without these rules, no society could exists because it would tear itself appart. Look at monkeys, wolves, lions, and other animals that live in packs or societal groups. They ALL have rules. Even though they don't have religion, rules have been defined.
In the early days, it was acceptable to have sex with children that would have been unacceptable today. Why is that? We had religion back then too. So, it's obvious that religion didn't define our sense of morality on this one. The reason why it was ok back then is simply because society changed. People lived longer and rules changed. This further prooves that the "rules" or morality of a social group is defined by the state of the society.
Religion is not the source of morailty. It is something that "evolved" over time to answer questions that could not be answered. Similarily evolution is another "religion" that attempts to take some facts and define how we got here, answering the question man has always been asking. Religion came to be in society to fill a need or weakness in the social group as a whole (evolution).

This is a whole other arguement. How can evolution be called a fairy tale? How do explain fossil records? I find it amazingly hilarious that someone can dismiss clear evidence that life existed long before "religion" said it did. How does religion explain the evidence? How can you dismiss this and ask people to believe what religion preeches? Some people are not as easily convinced (read convinced without any proof at all).
If anything, your religion is closer to a fairy tale then evolution.
I make no judgement on which is right or wrong. I just look at facts and make my own decisions. I don't believe what people tell me to believe. right now, evolution makes the most sense.
I find it really interesting how differnt ppl say iffernt things based on where they are from. In english and the average age for having sex isnt much older than 13. I personally had sex at 14 and my GF was 13.Bad i know but im now still with her and happy and we both have a really good carrer and life. Not that that applys to this persone i was a one of case sort of. And even though most man wont admit this you will be glad that you first time will be special and something to remember when it happens
Yup, I've just turned 15 a few weeks ago and I don't plan on going through that for a while. I mean there is a lot of peer pressure out there or whatever and you just have to ignore it. Of course I think this post is now sort of a joke because he probably was just joking around but that's beside the point. I have heard people talk about it and what not and many people carry condoms in their wallets but you know I think it's just to look cool or whatever, not that they really did anything. Or it is a just in case.
dont carry them in your wallet becasue if you sit on it and the bag pops... its worthless anyways...
just wait... theres masturbation if your that desperate... (its a natural thing and guess what you cant get any desises from it!!!) anyways go ahead and laugh at me idk lol
i dont know any of you
but either way dont have sex yet... and make sure you learn some stuff before you do try and do it.
I cant tell you much than that because i havnt had sex myself (im 16 but i dont really care)
IM 13 N IM READY FOR SEX. I THINK ABOUT IT ALLOT. PLEASE HELP

I think that if you feel you are mature enough for sex, you should still conder alot of other factors like are you sure your current partner is the right one to do it with. Are you ready for the consecunces of sex like an accidental pregnency, are you using contraceptives, are you aware of sexual diseases, and always ask yourself time and again, are you sure you want to do it now, whats wrong with waiting a bit till you are more mature? Talk to other more experienced people that you respect and get their openion or advice. Its better to take some time to know what your choices are and proceed cautiously than rush into things and regreat later.
listen to me young kid, at this time and age you should be digging in your book an scoring some good grades so that you can be successfull in the near future, you are too very young to get sexuall active. go and participate in group activities, sports, socialising etc. an take sex off your mine for now it will bounce u off track in school.
lol.. 13.. wow. .lol. .so. .what grade are you in... 7th... 8th? . lol.. Middle schooler should not even know anything about sex (at least most don't). lol..I'm sure that your school just started to teach sex ed.. am i right?..
Having sex is not really if you're ready or not, it's how mature you are to be responsible for any consequences. If you get your partner pregnant, you have two choices: get an abortion, or have the kid. In some case, your partner (being emotional like most female) refuses to have an abortion. That means you have to support the baby as well. Let's see.. you're 13, you need to be at least 3 more years to get a job at mcdonalds or somewhere because without an education, your chance of find a well paid job is very slim. I don't care how many people brags about how they didn't even finish high school and they still make alot of money to afford a BMW and a half a million dollars house, that is just in a rare case. It doesn't happens to everyone.
lol... Well.. i can't really stop you from doing it, so if you just have to do it.. ahaha. .make sure you go and get some condoms and some "plan B" (if you know what that is).
I still think high school kids (like myself) is too young for sex.. .wait till college.. lol
Sex for men and women is very different. For men, it is a physical activity that is fun, feels great, and we would do with anyone and everyone we could if societal rules would allow that. For women, sex is a deeply emotional act that is filled with intimacy and is best shared with someone that they love and (even if only hypothetically) would want to have children with.
There is kind of a sliding spectrum (no pun intended) there between the very casual and very emotional and men and women will almost always find themselves on opposite sides.
In otherwords, if you are lucky enough to find a willing partner, you will be ready to have an orgasm, but she probably has emotional strings she wants to attach to everything.
Don't kid yourself into believing that you can just have sex and la-dee-da thats it. The younger you are, the more unprepared you are to deal with the strong emotions and intimacy that sex will instantly create between two people. The more you have sex and deny the feelings that accompany the physical act, the more likely you are to deaden yourself to these feelings... and at that point the real joy of sex (sharing intimacy with someone you love and are committed to) becomes devalued to the point of worthless.
My advice: not that anyone 13 years old who wants to have sex will listen, is avoid the messiness that sex brings with it for a few years. Get into a relationship that means something to you, and then when you have more information than you do now, make a more informed decision.
Lmao, no your not sorry. Have a nice day. Are you asking about this because your intending to do it? (dought it though :s) I don't think so though. You should think about it, tripple ;].
I was approving topics at Trap17 where I have been seeing these replies about breakups of long
relationships and couples who are puzzled about What went wrong. I thought about sharing this
following opinion which I heard from an Indian Guru. The relationship between a man
and a women usually begins with Attraction. This attraction is charged by usually LUST in the
beginning. The Relationship between the couple opens by the Channel of Sex wherein the LUST energy
is released. The Center of Sex/Lust is Love. and slowly this Lust between couples soo....

So I just finished my freshman year of college and June 1st will be my girlfriend and mines 1
year! I'm incredibly excited about it because we have been doing the long distance thing
(which really sucks and I would never recommend it to anyone who wants to stay sane). There where
so many people who said that it would never work but so far we have done nothing but prove them
wrong. Oh well, Im not really expecting anyone to care about my relationship but I still just

Recently, someone I know broke up with their boyfriend of six years. The first thing that came to my
mind was "what makes you realise that the relationship is no good after six years, that you
couldn't have known at, say, 3, 4 or 5 years?" Apologies if this is too dumb and open-ended a
question, but at my age (19) and lack of life experience, I just can't get my head around it.
I'm currently in a year-long relationship, and it's bizarre to think that in 2 years
it's possible that we'll hate each other. Excluding the obvious betrayals such as infi....
I would like to ask your opinion in this Would you accept a relationship whereby there is a
different race shared by the 2 lovers? For example, the guy is of different racial color from the
girl. I am in this kind of relationship and I certainly do not appreciate the stares and glaring I
get on the streets. For example, at a bus stop, the entire alighting bus would just turn to stare at
us. And I would glare back at them in response to their stare. I accept that this is a very unique
and different relationship from the rest in my country (Singapore). But aren't th....

The ultimate advise for all the guys out there with a female companion girlfriend is to care for
her. Do almost everything she wants. As a guy, you will have more patience and you should use that to
win the girls heart.Girls want serious relationship, ones that will last till marriage(or at least
relationships that seems will last).Dont forget to say you love her once in a while.Dont do stupid
stuffs and leave her alone.Dont ditch her for your friends or football. It will result to a break up

considerate girlfriend I've ever had. I met this girl when I was 12 years old. We started out
argueing about something, i couldn’t remember. Then after we got bored of argueing, we became
friends. We would talk about almost anything, and we share the same interest. We’d go to the library
together on Fridays. But when we went to secondary school, we didn’t spent that much ti....
