My friend's computer had ME. Yeah, it does indeed *BLEEP*. Hatebreed's idea sounds good, except you should probably also get Windows XP if you inted to do any gaming.
win me is not bad i have it on 2 of my comps its ez and good 4 gamming so i say if u like gaming use me or xp home what ever u want
Win ME was a bad OS that should of never been released.
It had holes like you wouldn't belive. ME was just a way for micrpsoft to get some money fast. They should of waited and just shipped out XP.
I've never used ME. The computers I use right now have Win98 and Win2k on them, and I used to use Win95.

 It's the worst windows version, the w.o.r.s.t!!! It came installed on my "old" computer.. I GOT MAD EVERY DAY until I decided to ERASE it from my disk  blah!! a blue screen every 5 minutes! errors on errors! after about 4-5 months of usage I switched to Win 98. aaaaaaaah! 
Far from it, everyone I know hates winME, win2k is far superior.

From my own experience - windows millenium is the biggest mistake ever made by microsoft. I had to install that os after my windows 98SE crashed and I had nothing except Windows Millenium cd, so I installed it.. Problems started when I was tring to install Direct X8.1, it would never let me do that. And as I was really int games I was desperate to fix the problem but nvere found a solution. Later on I've heard that I got a "glitchy" version of WinMe, so I tried it again, but no... The problem now was with drivers for motherboard which couldnt be recognized. After that accident I never tried win me again and never recommended it to my friends.
I have Windows ME (which I received for free through some connections) on my old laptop. (It was already used when I bought it.) Although I sometimes ran into some problems, there weren't really any serious problems...that is until earlier this year when I ended up reformatting the hard drive and re-installing the OS. Mind you I've had the computer for about 5 years and I'm still amazed it's still working. On the newer computer I have Windows XP Home and it's so much better.
So..basically, Windows ME is fine if you just want to use the computer as a word processor and not much more.
Actually Windows has got loads of bugs. Even XP. Windows 2000 is best Windows I've seen. Try Windows 2000.
LOL, I tried it before, it was really buggy. Thought it was my computer, then 5 years later I realize it really is ME's fault.
win me is not a confirmed version of windows i think.yes.
