Yesterday my host request was approved. Today i was making the website and i tried to host a forum.
The website theme is programming, helps, guides, computing, tutorials on different programming
languages. And i realised that a forum is more handy for helps and tutorials, and the users can help
each others in a easier way. My doubt is: Is it really necessary a portal for my case? And can i
sell programs at my website if i want to? Feel free to give your opinion. ~ Greetz João Lopes...

I am using SmartFTP but it will not connect to the site here. I am using my username and password.

I am moving my phpBB2 forums from my old host, my-php.net, to this one. I have full access to my old
forums. I was wanting help on this to make sure nothing goes wrong. My forum members and I can not
risk having to lose all of our current information. So what I am thinking I have to do is. Export
my forums mySQL database with phpmyadmin. Import it into my database here on this host. Move the
forum directory to this sites ftp account. Change the root directory in my forum settings. I know
there has to be some things I have to change right? Some files or other settings...

I just got my account, and I was wondering: do we really get 99 MySql databases? I've read a
lot of the stuff about it, and it sounded like we only get one database, but my cPanel says that I
have "0 / 99" databases. If it's lying, it's not really a problem, because I could always
just prefix my tables, but I was just wondering why it would say that. If for some reason it was
letting me get more than one database, and I wasn't supposed to, I don't want to get my

Hello, I host my own mmorpg. I was wondering if a obdc connection coud be set up? And If I wanted it
how much oints it woud cost? Its in general a simpel register / user option site. With md5

Still can't create databases in phpmyadmin, and this has been going for weeks now, and i am
suposed to have privileges to create databases, am i right? So why can't i still, after weeks,
can't create databases? Please, i wish to know why this is happening, and if i am the only one

I was wondering if i could somehow transfer some of my credits from my Trap 17 account to my Asta
host account because i have gained many credits here at Trap 17 and i am having a hard time gaining
that many credits there.I just want to transfer maybe a months worth of credits (30 credits) And

ok, well i screwed up yes i admit it i screwed up big time... anywho, umm i was wondering is
trap17 kept back-ups of the MySQL Databases??? and if they do would it be possible for me to get a
copy of the backup for my forums sent to me somehow? because stupid me, i was re-installing my
forums, and went to make a backup of my MySQL database jsut in case, and selected all and hit make
backup, and well it only made a backup of only one of the databses, so right now i am without the

I went to phpmyadmin script a few minutes ago and i could not create a database. Since it says

Today I was checking my account, as my site forums were down, so I wanted to see the SQL server
status or fix the mySQL database. On Cpanel it says I have 0/99 mySQL databases - which is really
weird seeing that I have definitely had one for over a year /blink.gif"

Well, my partners on my forum has decided to move our site to a newer host. A paid one to be exact.
And we did that already. Now all we need to do is move our forum over to the new host. We want to

Okay, I've had my site here for a few months, and the hosting is brilliant and everything. But
my dad bought his own servers, and says it would be best if I switch to them and he'll host my
site there. The switch won't be happening for a few weeks yet, so I don't want my account
terminated immediately. But once I have moved everything, how do I go about having my account here
closed? Do I just say, "I'm done, you can close my account now" to one of the Admins? I'd

i am a complete novice at php first of all. but i have a vbulletin forum that i hosted on a free
hosting service. of course i maxed out my mysql quota, so now i have to change hosts. i found one,

Hallo, i have used many free hosts and this is by far teh best. I just got approved and signed in 5
min. ago and WOW WEE it is really really good! The cPanel looks absoulty amazing and everything
is tidy and orgainzed. u'd think it was an paid host but NO!. Thank you again admins and
staff of Trap 17, u guys really are teh best FREE host there is on the net. BTW: i have encountered
a couple fo scam hosts that tell u teh wrong ftp, user name,... so on... Don't use byehost.com.

OK basically... i set all my DNS to the trap17 ones about 2 days ago and it was working fine
yesterday and went to my trap17 page... now i goto my address (http://www.outlawspirit.com) and it

Ok. I just bought a Computing Host hosting pakage and that works fine. But the Domain I registered
and bought does not work with the host. It comes up with page cannot be displayed. I have a
'Merchants referance and a Worlpay Transaction ID but what do I do with them? Please can you
