I made a post previously and have also opened a support ticket regarding this issue.
When my qupis.com hosting package was accepted I proceeded to upload the latest version of Invision Power Board, IPB 2.3.3. Everything was running fine for a few days, no unexpected errors and great server uptime and speed. However after about 4 days, the forums had disappeared and there were three link advertisements on the page. I checked via FTP, all the files were there, the database was fine... So I went to class, came back later that night and my forums are working again, but no advertisements.
Now another couple days later the advertisements have reappeared and have caused a conflict with the forum scripts yet again. The only part of the forums I can currently access is the /dir/forums/admin/ directory, however immediately after logging in I am presented with a blank page showing just advertisements again.

Does anyone know of a way to get around this problem without hiding/removing the advertisements? Or is there a way to have the automatic advertisements removed and manually add them myself? I think this would be a much easier solution, on my part anyways.

I believe the adverts are added by the Apache server automatically. If you have added some .htaccess files, or changed the contents of an .htaccess file, you might have caused a conflict between the adverts and your site.

Look through your admin logs and see if any settings were changed that could have caused a change to your .htaccess files. These often include settings that adjust URLs, some settings that claim to help with search engine rankings, and a few others.

I don't see how it could be a modification of a .htaccess file... Well I do, but in my case I don't.
When I had no advertisements at all (both on plain HTML pages and php pages) everything ran fine. However, as soon as the advertisements were activated (on both types of pages, at the same time), the plain HTML page ran exactly as before (with ads at the bottom), but the forums simply disappeared. You'd think that if a modification of the .htaccess file were made, you would see the forums with the advertisements before modifying the file. This did not happen, unless Apache did this itself while adding the advertisements.
And none of the .htaccess files have been changed at all, as far as I am aware anyways.

Any other ideas?

Are you including your own ads on the pages of the Forum? Might that be the conflict?

Nope, I'm not.
I should also mention that the ads were enabled for a few hours a few days ago which caused the same situation, then they were disabled that same night, at which time the forums started working again. I did absolutely nothing to modify my site or plan at all as I was in class when the adverts were removed. Now they're back... And causing just a bit of trouble.

The only ads are the ones auto-assigned after the </html> tag. Again, I still believe it is the advertisement itself which is causing the problem, because the scripts were not meant to have advertisements embedded in them at some random spot (I've personally tried that before and received SQL errors, among other weird effects).

So yeah... The only possible solution I can see to this problem is export the database and re-write the entire directory... Maybe now that the advertisements are already there, it will work out... It's like trying to install Vista as dual-boot on a Linux box... It just doesn't work. But it does work the other way around.

EDIT: I removed the database and all scripts, then proceeded to re-upload and re-install. The installation ran fine (with advertisements as well) but as soon as I finished, the site was blank again, exactly as before. Is it even possible to run IPB with the advertisements? If not I will quite simply change hosts, I don't really have time to attempt to figure this one out.
