I use the PHP reference manual. ITs really handy and if you already know the basics, you can learn advanced stuff easily by trial and error.

What kind of guides would you want. Like once you know the basics all you have to do is basically use those to create complex stuff like login scripts and news scripts and such that suite your needs. Also, if you understand the language just look at the API and use that as a reference or a starting point. There most likely wont be advanced guides for any language.

yeah, I'd use the php manual like opaque said. you can get it free off php's official site. If you don't like that, pick up a book from your local bookstore.

I was interested in learning it, because we used a couple really simple parts of it in class last year, and they seemed really cool, but then we never really got into it. I'm hoping that this year we do learn more of it though. It seems like a pretty essential thing to learn.

as always, i'm goin to tell you about the first, and last PHP resource you'll ever need (apart from the official docs, <3 and all that) www.hudzilla.org/phpbook It's big. It's long. It has all kinds of fun stuff in, like how to generate ascii art from jpeg's. Go forth and multiply, my sons.

Good to have so many resources like this. I am also trying to learn PHP and it will be very very useful. I am also sure i will find more stuff from goole. But this will be good for startup.

I have found that learning by example works best for me and I have found a lot of examples at AstaHost.com. There is a wealth of knowledge at our sister site reguarging PHP. If you have a basic knowledge of PHP, then I think that OpaQue is right on the money by suggestion the official PHP guide at php.net . The manual can be a little difficult to navigate but everything is there if you know PHP. Not recommended for new users. vujsa

Zelda: Minish Cap (game Boy Advance)
(0) This is one of those games that I never bought, and regretted it when it immediately became a rare
and hard to come by game. Thankfully, the Gaming Gods must have been smiling on me three days ago,
when I managed to find a copy of Minish Cap, boxed, in perfect condition, for £25 (this was the same
day I got Metroid: Zero Mission for £13, the same shop even). I've only just left Minish Woods
and learnt the Spin Attack, due to some extremely casual playing and alot of socialising and doing

Advance Wars: Dual Strike
(2) I purchased the game yesterday and I've been playing it non-stop (sorta). I never bothered
playing an AW game before, but this game makes me regret it (the first two games are pretty
difficult to find and I want to unlock all the maps). AWDS is probably one of the best turn-based
strategy games ever. There are tons of units to use (around 30, I think) that keep the gameplay
interesting. The stylus and touch screen work wonders for this game. I haven't had a chance to
try out the multiplayer yet, but the campaign mode is awesome. You must try this game NOW! ....

Simple Visual Basic program to aid in making guides (3) I wrote this about 3 months ago for a different forum (Runescape Forums, one I'm currently a
G-Mod of. ) and I figured I'd share it with you. All it is, is a text editor with built in
buttons and menus for adding BBCodes. For example, if you wanted to make something bold, you type
what you want, highlight it, find bold in the text menu and click it. The nicest thing is, you
can save, and you don't have to worry about a forum failing after taking hours to write a guide.

document i went with 350x150 step 2: next change the canvas size by going to image then to canvas

Final Fantasy Tatics Advance
(8) i have to say its a pretty good game mind you it takes time to level up and the fact you have to pic
the right weapons and im struggling with that. the card system is unique in its own right not that
hard to follow the rules which make it simpler to beat. The only thing I think that corny is the
