Is There A Ad Free Invision Board That Is At Least 1.2 Or 1.3 Version. I See Ad Free phpbb2 But Thats Cause phpbb is mostly free all. Invision Board Cost Unless Used By cpanel Or Ad Included One. So Is There A Invision Board Thats Ad Free? Not 2.01 Version Cause That You Need License At Least 1.2 or 1.3 Versions

I tryed the 1.2 version in Cpanel and it was add free.
I dont know what if it has changed but it was addfree when I installed it.

Firstly i wonder what sort of ad-free invision board you are looking for. If you are looking for ad-free invision board which is hosted with third party websites, it is very hard to find. I've not seen any of those boards. They usually come with adsense or any other advertisements.

Secondly, what you are looking for is Ad-free Invision board with higher than 1.2 Or 1.3 Versions. Since Invision board is not free I don't think we can find these as well. There will be hardly anyone who runs forum software free without any expectations from the other end.

Trial version is of course there. You could download from Invision power board homepage and install it in your trap seventeen hosting. That will be advertisements free.

If you are talking about one for you to put on your webspace here it is pretty much impossible unless you downloaded a copy from the Invision site when they still had it there for you to download. Invision is the only place that is allowed to let you download any version of Invision Power Board. IPB is not in the Cpanel anymore either the last time I checked. Those places that only hosts IPB boards for free and nothing else almost always have ads. I have not found one that does not display ads but there is probably at least one out there but it would be very hard to find.

You can just edit the php for the board in most cases. Just find the board's folder in your directory and find the main index php file. I'm not sure about invision, but that's where it usually is. Even if you don't know any php, you can skim the script and see where the ads are. Don't do this if your host requires you to have ads on the site, obviously.

It has only google ads at the bottom, so like this it won't look bad in the forum, besides, google ads are allways welcome!

You can still download IPB 1.3 off some sites (and then upload it to your Trap17 account). I remember finding it through a Google search - you may have to go back a few pages. Remember though, it is supposedly illegal now to distribute copies of IPB.

The IPB 2.++ versions are all nice, but you need a 200 dollar license for them, a lot of sites still have IPB 1.3 for download (Altrough it's often reffered as illegal). Either way, I don't think IPB is worth the hassle, I like PHPBB2 much more... (IPB has its nasty bugs)

NO! There is no ad free IF1.2-1.3, you must PAY for the ads to be removed. Go into your ACP And it's one of the first links, Ad removal. Pay for ad removal, easy as that, and it's legal.

itsmyard, please refrain from asking for admin power on other peoples board, also, removing ads on a free service is again the TOS...

Yes , there is one try "www.kewl-host.com" they offer free hosting no ads but you hafe to post on there forums.. read it there stuff.
