Yet More Help With My Websites Template

now i need help with this template biggrin.gif

What i want is for the layout to be touching both the top of the browser, and the left side of the browser.

It looks fine now, but when i put the Doctype in

it adds a space between the top and side of the layout... any suggestions? or am i just going to have to deal without a doctype? lol

Ive had a similar problem and i found this website: http://www.webdevelopersnotes.com/tips/htm...er_padding.php3 Which talks about the browser padding as its called and how to remove it. The code they give for HTML is:

<BODY MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="0 LEFTMARGIN="0"
TOPMARGIN="0">


It definately works for their site in IE and Firefox so i assume it should work for your site too smile.gif

ohh ok i see what i forgot haha i forgot the marginheight and marginwidth part in the thing i allready had in there biggrin.gif sweet thanks biggrin.gif this can be closed now to prevent spam

i suggest using css to specify such properties of the document, as using BODY attributes might invalidate your file (not sure about this, got to check it out smile.gif )..

in your css file:
CODE

body {
margin:0;
padding:0;
}

    Heyo, I'm coding this template here; http://dailyanimation.info/ , and I need some help. In
    firefox, it looks fine. No problems what-so-ever. Safari, the last nav link appears to be "Home"
    instead of "Music" which is fixable, I think I might has mistyped the css. But then in IE everything
    is choppy. The entire page is missaligned, the nav all appears to be "home", and is looks horrible.
    I'm not sure what I did wrong with the coding. It must be something with the css because it was

    Alright, I'm making a website for a band. And he requested on the "Media" page that when you go
    there, you see there sample songs. And next to it, it's like "Song - Play in - MWA - RealTime."
    How do you make it so when you click, say, realtime, it takes you to another page and the player is
    right there, playing the song? I suppose this is some kind of PHP but I'm not sure. Links,
    code, tutorials, anything to get this working for me is appretiated.....

    I’m looking into RFID for some stuff. Is anyone here familiar with it? It would be nice if there is
    some kind of package for it. Let’s say that you have a bunch of tags; when you have a new customer
    or new item, you create new id for him/her or the item, and you create the tag that contains that
    id. You give it to the customer or put it on the item. Next time you just scan it and you can
    retrieve the id. There is something like this for barcode. It has a set of hardware and also it has
