Thanx, 3072MB is roughly 3MB which is what the program needs to run. This program would run but it's not the only program taking your virtual memory, they are tonnes of other system files which could be taken this up too. You need to increase your paging file. In XP, do the following: - Right click on My Computer
- Select Properties
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Under Performance click Settings
- Click on the tab Advanced
- Under Virtual Memory click Change
- For the drive your running the setup file from change the initial amount to 3MB and the maximum amount to 6MB
- Click Set
- Click OK until all the windows have been closed down
Now try running the setup files

Will that make your Windows XP computer go faster as well? Because I had that error tons of times. Before that pop-up appears, my computer goes really really slow, its like it Froze....

thanks for reply . but what shoul i do now? Hi, The procedure recommended by the respectful "electriic ink" is helpful but in case it did not solve your problem you may try these steps as well: - Try to close programs running in silent mode, or close the Tray applications and try again.
- Go to Start> Run and type "msconfig" then navigate to Startup tab and remove check boxes for those programs which are not vital or necessary for your computer to boot or run properly. Then restart your computer and try again. Also you can stop some rare used services in msconfig by going to the Services tab and repeat the same procedure for those services which may not help but consume some memory to start and run.
- It could be the first step but it is not that late to check the minimum requirements to run the software from a readme.txt file or another resource on the web. Your system may need higher resources to run the software properly.

Cannot Open Display - Error
(2) I basically have some problems in accessing xWindow applications(SAS and nedit in particular) in the
server. i get "Cannot open display" when i try to access nedit and other applications. I did some
findings on this and thought this might be of some help to you. But I was not able to zero in on
the problem yet. The problem I guess, is the remote not able to enable the display to the server.
The display settings has to be set properly in the remote machine. Commands I tried
setenv DISPLAY xhost + DISPLAY=gl5705rk02:10.0 ....

Is it really needed for me? (7) I am now running on Windows XP. I'm confused whether to use and install Windows Updates or not.
My friends and some local IT support said that I do not need them. But many tech site suggests them
to be installed. Here is my situation : I only use this PC to browse internet, download files,
using P2P software, play games and other activity that doesn't require internet. I never use
wireless internet, my PC is not linked to another PC (workgroup). Do I really need Windows Update at
all? Untill now, I never experienced any crash or something without those updates. ....

Get Parallels To Use Existing Windows Xp Installation

Windows Media Player 11 Visualization
oddly poor performance (15) My windows media player 11 has seemed to have developed a problem. Well actulally it has always been
doing this. I am running a P4 (2.8GHz with 512 ram, 64MB vram), and when I try to activate the
visualization in WMP 11 all it is horribly slow and pixelized. I would guess about 5 fps Normally I
would just accept this and keep saving for a new computer but the second that there is something
covering even part of the visualization screen, it ups it's performance. If you put a separate
window over the vis screen (even the slightest corner of a window) the performance up....
