| | But the point of the ad is so that there is some revenue. I think that a javascript fly in is the best, since it's also easily closed, doesn't appear on the user's page after. I personally hate banner ads especially those really large picture sound ones from fastclick...
How about something like the old Geocities? There is a flyin on the top corner, with built in features so that it's not totally useless, and that some webmasters might even want to keep it there. For example, the user can edit the HTML code of a small portion of the fly-in, or maybe it could offer one click links to some Trap17 networked sites etc. At least if you make the flyin usefull and attractive, people might even want to keep it there. |

Maybe a pop-up under (although Iīm not completely sure how it is and the difference with another pop-up). A banner on top disturbs your website design... itīs better something that you can close. Fly-in ads seems a horrible option, I donīt like things moving without permission, even less if itīs an ad, although it can be closed.

Pop-under mostly....BUT a 720x90 banner would be ok only if it was on the button cuz annoying ads on the otp is messed up

I find the way the banners are displayed a little annoying. Is there any possibility of one having two 468x60 banners placed wherever they like on a page instead of one big banner forced on the top?

I think the pop up, add is the best, because it does not "really" distract from the content of your webpage, and annoy the user of the flashing junk @ the top of a page and all that other annoying stuff that people get annoyed and end up leaving after they click out off all the other stuff.

Pop-In. I think they're nice, since they're not as intrusive as pop-ups, but aren'ts as big as Banners. And i hate banners, and are considering Pop-Ins for my website. But definently not Pop-Ups! But Trap17.com's ad-lessness is awesome, and i think posting is worth it. Ads get in the way a lot, and how many people actually check out Pop-Ups! Everyone hates Pop-Ups, and tries to kill them.
