It's not only a P2P phone, you can also use its SkypeOut function to make calls to friends who only have a landline or mobile phone anywhere in the world at local rates.

Since were talking about telephony related stuff, I have been looking for a great VMB and IVR to use (voice message broadcast and interactive voice recognition, respectively) with my voice modem. For the VMB, I need preditive dialing, cuz I want to dial and leave message only to voicemail and play a "oh i got the wrong number" when someone picks up. If anybody know of a good software to use and I am able to download, please let me know, thanks.

Those kazaa-guys know what to devellope! A nice creation it is, skype. I use it often and i have to admit, I like the concept and it saves me a lot of money. btw just like kazaa. I wonder what their next creation will be.

skype is awesome, I used it for the past two years to call back home and works perfectly. Good quality sound, easy to set up (parents don't always know how to do things!) and best of all FREE! The only thing it lacks is a webcam feature, for that I need to use MSN, but then again, nothing is ever perfect

i see people on here saying kazaa and limewire are good. They both kill your computer. fast. I don't know why people use these programs when there is such a variety of better programs out there. Like anything with true p2p sharing. Bittorrent etc

ype and Skype simply The latest version of skype that is 3.08 can do more than your description , im a regular user of skype and i love it.In the latest version you can have a video call , conference call and moreover the logging in time taken is much faster compared with any other messenger.Skype originally was a p2p calling piece of software , not it can be used to call PC2Phone also. Note€:A rare piece of information, If you see the technical aspect of the skype ,it is the best software where reverse engineering is not possible on it , if at all if you try to see the code behind Skype all it shows is a fake set of code,the security is so well built in skype

The quality of sound is fine on all connections, I find that I get good sound quality no matter what connection, it really involves what the other user is soing on the internet at the time.

Internet Does Not Connect

what is the best VOIP (52) skype-just for messages and chat. you can call other persons but connection is very bad. its just
for calling your next door neighbour on lunch, or asking a friend for a homework from math. msn- it
has a louds of options. you cane phone, chat, even have a video conversation. chat is very good.
when you phone you hear a slow motion words. video conversation-> that is good if you want to talk
using your hands and legs but if you are trying to speak you will be disapointed. it is soo slow.
you can go on bathroom and back and you will see that lips are moving but the voice ....
Internet Explorer Issue...

a cable modem, so I surf the web using IE... However, every so often, generally right when I am

Internet Browsing Restrictions
(5) When ever I go on the internet and say for example I typed in games on google whenever i click on a
link nothing will happen. Or if I look for a link on this site and click it nothing will happen (it
won't freeze just nothing will happen) or it might say page can't be displayed. I went to
