| | The Sims 2 Open for business is the title of the third expansion pack already in development by Maxis. It is planned to be released early 2006.
Your sims will be able to run their own businesses including shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and other ventures. Can even employ staff as their business grows.
Your sims will be able to create their own goods and sell them, including paintings, furniture, books, music, clothes, food or even run a nightclub or restaurant!
New objects will include:
Advanced painting
Perfume/Candles
Pottery
Robots
Glass Art
Makeup/Hairdos
Tattoos
Gardening (Flowers and Fruits/Veggies)
Woodworking
Sculptures
Computer programs
New Foods
Weaving

Wow, this sounds great. I still need to get myself a copy of Nightlife, but as soon as I get that I'll try and get Open For Business. Thanks for the info.

If you have not purchased Nightlife, or University yet, I wouldnt purchase Open for Business and purchase all three together for a discounted rate. In the past people have saved lot of money waiting until Maxis has bundled all of the software packages together.

"The Sims Super Deluxe eddition" only consisted of The base game, livin it up and house party, they never bundled all the ep's together, not officialy.

YEAH I can't wait!!!  This is so cool! But one problem.... If you ever played The Sims Unleashed - It is a cool game, If you did you will like the dogs and pets. They must make a game like that after The Sims 2 OFB. I know I can't wait but I want to have pets in my game!!!  Thanks for reading, Webviper2005

I am not really into The Sims, I think after a while it gets totally boring, and once you play for a while, you end up killing your characters in the pool or something like that,I'd rather just stick to CokeMusic.

Yup, The Sims is one of the most boring games ever, but you cant hate it, it always has something new to do, and when your bored, its so much fun. I ended up making a sims fansite, and now its quite popular, the sims community is too full of useles forums and crap sites, nothing new.

Another Sims expansion sounds great, can't wait for any new weird items they might have. I wish they would add getting drunk(from the bar), you can already kill sims with the cow plant, so why not some harmless wavering. I also got bored with the game after I first got it, mostly because I micromanaged. I made them all study to death, litterly. Then I learned the true way of playing. Gathered around sims 2 with some friends, took us 2 hours of hilarious fun as 8 of us made ourselfs(ofcourse we got plenty of new clothes(like 5 times the game standard) downloaded free from various sites). Then we made a basic house with some unique furniture and let it go fastest speed. PURE LAUGHTER: one guys sims always smelled with a green aroma, just like in life. My sim hit on my best friend's girlfriend's sim. A friend who always flashed his briefs had his sim walk in only them and so on including a gay sim couple, which explained alot. Try it you will love it!

i am having problem installing open for business 2
The Sims 2 Open For Business
I need help installing sims 2 open for business, I have all of the exapnsion packs installed except for a few such as sims 2 pets and Nightlife, I was wondering since I am installing open for business last, could this be a problem, should I delete all of my files and start all over again, please let me know what you think

As I've read the new features that will be included in Open For Business, I saw some things that is not really included in Open For Business. 1. Pottery is not included in Open For Business. Pottery is one of the upcoming features of the upcoming expansion pack which is the FreeTime 2. Tatoos? OMG! I didnt see any tatoos in Open For Business but I saw Makeups... 3. Gardening is one of the basic interaction in The Sims 2 and if that's the case that's not new. But major Gardening features are included in The Sims 2 Seasons... 4.Weaving is not included in Open For Business but it is included also in the upcoming expansion pack. 5. Photography is not for Business but it's one of the Jobs if you have University installed

A lot of those objects in sims2 open for business I have never seen. like tattoos, woodworking, weaving, photography, or sculptures. are you sure they're in there? tell me how to get them Please! o ya and how come ur sims can never get married in a church? -magatha840

I didn't like Open for Business NEARLY as much as the others. It's just so hard to run a business! I've had the game for a bout a month now and I still can't figure it out! It's hard to run a restaurant..or car dealer..or anything for that matter. I'll just stick with the regular ol' jobs.

Im glad that you like the game, as that shows that it is good and tells me i should go and buy it, i am still going to buy the sims 2 holiday expansion pack, but am not sure which to buy first. Also you mentioned that you made like a show with the sims, well my friend was going to do something simillar with roller coaster tycoon 3. I cant wait to buy Open For Bussiness, as i will have so much fun now and may actually play the sims 2 more often. This game looks really good and before i buy it i will see if anyone else has it or likes it.

(20) Has anyone got/is considering getting this? I didn't really understand much of what it's
about from what I've read on it, only that it seems to be a bit of a light edition Sims with a
more story focused approach.. Personally, I won't get it because I have the full real thing,

Problem Installing Sims 2 Nightlife
update failure (34) I have the Sims 2. I tried to install Sims 2 Nightlife expansionpack. He reches 100 % with
installing the game...then he automatically run the updat for the sims 2. But when he's going
trough the files he stops st the file: CSBin/package.exe He says there is a error, and then when I
click ok, install terminates and goes back from 100% to 0%. Can anybody tell me what's going
wrong here? Has anyone else had this problem? I just can't figure it out. And on the internet I
found a few people who had the same problem but just havent had an solution for it yet. Ca....

pack, Nightlife. There is not much information available about this expansion, but there should be
soon... It is planer for Autumn (fall) 2005, the images bellow come with The Sims 2 University as
