Sherwood was very pathetic when I played it. I'm not sure if it has changed. Sure, the graphics were decent for the very short download, but the world was small and all you could do is run around and kill eachother. QUOTE(bretbc @ Jul 8 2006, 12:10 AM)

You won't find any other browser-based games as good as RuneScape, to the best of my knowledge.

Ah another browser based game... They will never be great you know? The ability to make new features and to use your full imagination in web based games is just toooo limited to be able to make a game as good as a downloadable game, most online web based games dont even come close to the quality of a downloaded game, altrough not every downloaded game is much worth either. Games like ragnarok etc are great MMORPG's which would own any web based mmorpg game...

I like sherwood lol Though I think it needs improvement. Improvement like... -Accounts -Moderators -More types of quests -More weps, shields, amulets, and talisman types -More islands -Bigger land -More portals -More monster types -Make level matter more -Make gold more valuable -More designed dungeon floors etc. But remember this is only 1 man making this game. Only 1 man! How do you expect him to progress the game that fast? I hear though soon there will be a visual upgrade with more colors and character looks, monster texture upgrade, mod system, more weps, and etc! I am looking forward to it

I know a game besides RS, It is called dragonfable. It is more rpg than mmo but there is a pvp combat area you can go to. -GAMEGOD

What do you mean start over again? If you mean SAVING, it saves automatically -Type /level 0 when in the dungeon or another island to teleport to the castle area where it will save. So before quitting, always type /level 0 first! Then type /logout rather then clicking the RED X in the corner. And those commands must have a / (Backslash) in front of it. IF this is not your problem, do you mean inventory? That stays when you save...but you need to find ones that work and keeep up to date with your level weapons and equipment and rings and talismans and runes and scrolls and everything willl be good. Otherwise explain please------------------->

I've been playing this game for a while... It would be good if they put a free membership to remember all those weapons you got rather than start it all over again.

I disagree! Yeah one man made it all and the other games by himself, you can't expect it to be to great, but I know it's improving. And so, that's just part of the game..you need to get used to it to understand that part... Yeah some people are immature, I agree, but that has nothing to do with the game system itself, they just need to get some respect.... And that's cause your in an area way beyond your level..... The Ai will get improved, I know it.... No, no storyline, and that's on purpose because it is a community game, where you get on and explore and do whatever you want, like living in real life (just a game) Hold right click and drag to move and type /camera to enter camera mode. If you really get to know the game, it's really fun, trust me !

Is the traditional RPG a dying genre? (5) Even though I grew up with an Atari (yes, I'm that old, but I was only like 3 or so when my
parents bought it) and my brother had an NES, my first console was the PlayStation and the game that
kept me up all night for weeks on end was Final Fantasy VII. I would sometimes go to school without

people talking about but I have never used it. But the best way to win battles with other players
is to use the tricks of the game to your own advantage!!! By tricks I mean using the way the game
itself is set up, (no outside codes) One of my favorite tricks is the blocking trick . if you
block successfully 3 times in a row, your next clean shot will do double or triple damage ....

What Do You Look For In Mmorpg Games
(5) what i look for in a mmorpg...well i would like to see one where to can make parties of people and
you can weapons and armours you can get based on skills levels and experince. Most have level system
also and a good size landscape for the players to roam on....also some quests and some fun stuff so
when you dont want to train on combat or other skills you can relax with friends and do other things
also a mailing system would be nice so that you could still contact people even when they are off
line. A clan/Guild sysem so you cna keep track of your clan if you have one. ....

Im planning one (7) Recently someone created a MMORPG script using RGSS(Ruby-game-scripting-system). It allows fully
online capability for a MMORPG and is similar to dofus...In that it loads on a webpage, but is able
to play MMORPG and not page by page. I am here to ask what you will look for in an MMORPG(by the way
its 2D) but as far as battle system and other additions go its fully customizable. So any input

ok i found this new game called sherwood its a mmorpg buts whats cool i theres no p2p or f2p every ones the same but there are still lvls and hp and when you die you dont lose anything you cant trade 
but you can get money ez like 123look for poo in chatroom 75 emerald server alls you do at the begining just go to select server and type exactly wat i type in red /join 75 thats how you switch remeber slash so if you need help just ask me plz reply
