| | I am using my dot com email through Outlook Express. I have no problem in recieving Emails through. However if I reply to the Email it can not send before there is an Error. The Error message is below:

This happens with all 6 accounts that I have set up and use.
Any ideas of what the problem could be.

Ok there are very simple steps which can be performed to find out what the problem is. 1st : Try to delete and recreate the email settings, making sure that you are using the correct procedure. 2nd : Even if the above step fails to solve the problem, then try to disable the firewall or any antivirus which scan your outgoing emails...just for testing purposes. Please try these steps and see if it solves your problem or not.

I think Mayank has covered it all. I can only suggest messing around with your existing settings a little, many service providers have special settings that you might want to pay attention to - maybe the port numebr is different from the default, maybe SSL needs to be turned on. On the other hand, it is possible that there is some problem with the outgoing mail server - I mean, that could be the case on some occassions, although you will more likely solve your problem by either modifying your settings suitably, or, as Mayank suggested, try checking your security settings. Ok I have done as OpaQue has suggested and created a test account. The Email information is as follows: Webmail Address: test@zaccynetwork.com Login: test+zaccynetwork.com Password: password POP3 Infomation Send: mail.zaccynetwork Recieve: mail.zaccynetwork.com When the account was created in my cPanel this is the information that I recieved. QUOTE The e-mail account test@zaccynetwork.com with the login test+zaccynetwork.com and password password with a quota of 5 megabytes was successfully created.

Jesse, Perhaps this is some good news for you - I am able to send mails using your test account. Here are the settings I used:  That is, most importantly, I think - SSL mode on. Port number 465. Try implementing these changes and then sending mail. The screenshot is from Thunderbird, but this should work on Outlook Express just as well, as long as the corresponding options have been updated. Ok I chaged the setting in Outlook Express to: SSL mode on. Port number 465 However I am now getting this message: QUOTE Your SMTP server has not responded in 60 seconds. Would you like to wait another 60 seconds for the server to respond?

Well a simple google search for 0x800CCC19 brings up this page. Follow the instructions there and see if they work.

Only problem with that. Is what it says is this: QUOTE Error 0x800CCC19
1. This is a possible corruption of the pop3uidl file. Close your internet connection and all programs. Search for the file pop3uidl and delete it. Reconnect and it should work.
2. Repeat step 1 with a reboot before you check your mail again.
3. You may have a corrupt or a very large file attachment on the mailserver. Large file attachments, mail that are missing headers, or mail that do not conform to the mail RFC's can cause this.
After a search of my PC I have NO file called that what so ever. So I really dont understand what is wrong here at all.

Additonal reading Click here. The reason might be that you're using the wrong username to login and password.

Host Problems
Need some help (7) Hey, recently ive applied and been accepted for a host. Now, i set up an account and then tried to

The Capitalization Filter
Problems with it (0) I've noticed that on a lot of topics, The topic's title has been maimed a little, like in

Strange Site Problems
(2) This morning i ran out of credits, but I immediately got them back up to 7. All day I've been
trying my site, and it keeps timing out, and on the odd occasion comes up with a MySQL error. I was
just able to login to my cpanel, and my space usage was 550mb. Yesterday is was approximately 256mb,
and i didnt upload anything. I had to delete files to get it back down to 470, but I cant find what
has made it so big. Now I get a MySQL error on my forum. What do I do?....
Keep Getting Socket Error
mail won't send. (3) When trying to send email, I keep getting a socket #10061 error. I use the Trap 17 smtp server,
related to my own domain, which is mail.vlaanderen-flanders.org.uk. This seems to be happening

Problems Adding An Email Account
(3) Hello, I am trying to add an email account, but I'm having problems. When I go into my Cpanel
and attempt to add an email account I get a message similar to "the account you are trying to
create, You have exceeded the maximum number of email accounts , with the password password
has been created successfully" And, of course, no email account is created. I know I am not

Problems With Ftp Access
(1) Well topic title says its all I have problem with ftp access to my account here on trap17 so if
anyone has experienced similar issues lately. The problem is when I try to log on it disconnects me
from the server. I am using filezilla however I have tried to access trough file manager and it
works fine though it is not the same protocol. I must admit I have deleted some folders recently
however I am quite certain that it is all connected to the joomla installation and not some system

Domain Change Problems
(2) Hey. Today I decided to change my default domain to a subdomain; I kinda needed a personal website
but I don't have the time to spend 5 hours waiting for the Uni.CC name servers to set up.

Control Panel Will Not Let Me In [resolved]
Login problems (4) I am frantically trying to get into my Trap 17 control panel. I tried to get into the login screen
by typing: http://www.trap17.com:2082 and indeed, the login screen comes up. I then type in my
username (mrdee, or should it be my trap 17 domain)? I then also enter my correct password, what
hapeens then is that the login screen keeps popping up again. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

File Manager Problems
(3) Alright, I figured out the edit html windows need to be refreshed each time opening them for them to
show the last updates so you don't just work off the old, un-updated version and mess everything
up (which really should get fixed). The problem that most annoys me though is when I try deleting
files and the File Manager doesn't delete them. I try uploading updated files over them and it
doesn't update them, but just keeps the old ones there. It's getting really annoying. And
when I try deleting stuff from the Trash Can, it never deletes it. Sometime....

How do I make it and read my mail? (8) Hey guys, I love how I have sendmail and my own email account here, but I don't know how to
access them. When I created my account, I put in my home email address because that's supposed
to be there. But instead of having my users email me at my home email account in my contact form, I
would like to have them email me here at trap17. I went into my Email Management and saw Add/Remove
Email and created one called Custergrant@custopoly.trap17.com...and it created correctly and all.

Web Mail Forwarding Not Working?

My addon domains are not showing in the control panel. (2) Hi. I just want to find this out before I submit a support request. It may probably be a global

Problems After Changing Domain
(14) Hi, i have recently bough a top level domain from GoDaddy.com and now I am having a few problems
