Read Before Applying [IMPORTANT] - [*An overview of the hosting available*]

When you submit an application for hosting, please make sure that you include:

• The subdomain you want, or domain where applicable (eg. yourname.trap17.com or yourname.com);
• And the username you wish to use (eg. yourname);

Requests that do not include the small amount of required information are generally ignored and deleted, so please make sure you get it right.

You can opt for Domain Hosting or Sub-Domain hosting. Trap17.com Recommends members to go for Sub-Domain hosting. Members are free to point their favourite short url address to trap17.com sub-domains. Sub-domains are activated instantly, they do not need configuring or do not involve Advanced Settings. They don't have to be Propagated. So they are fast and quick. Any changes to the accounts involving DNS reflect instantly. If you still want to go for Domain hosting, You are free to do so.

As is stated on the 'Services' page, you are required to have a certain number of posts to be elligible to receive hosting. (Note: Trap17.com is an Advertising supported Website)

Package 1: Requires 10 posts; 20 MB space and 500 MB bandwidth
Package 2: Requires 25 posts; 50 MB space with 1000 MB bandwidth
Package 3: Requires 50 posts; 100 MB space with 2000 MB bandwidth
Package 4: Requires 100 posts; 150 MB space with 3000 MB bandwidth


It is absolutely required that you reach the minimum post count before applying for each package; if you request a package that you do not qualify for, the application will be ignored.

Your account may be upgraded to the next package when you reach the minimum number of posts; eg. if you have package 2 and you reach 50 posts, you can apply for package 3 if you wish.

However, is appreciated if members only apply for additional space or bandwidth if they really need it. If you are only running a small web site with a couple of images and one or two pages, then you don't really need a lot of space or bandwidth, so you shouldn't really ask for it.

Please note:
Sub-domain hosting (eg. yourname.trap17.com) is available for all hosting packages; however, domain hosting (eg. yourname.com or yourname.uni.cc) is only available for packages 2, 3, and 4. It is also required for *ALL PACKAGES* that you stay active in the forums, and submit some posts from time to time.

Member's who are not active, they will be warned and their account would be DELETED. We don't want to force members to post. Making some posts per week is enough. However, making 100 posts in a single day and remaining absent for the rest of the week or month is not appreciated. One post per day is also enough.. but you should contibute to forums. Try helping us, rather than just satisfying the requirements. ( Note: Trap17.com is an Advertising supported Website)
