I have been here for some months and I have always wanted to get my page up and going. I have tried
to learn HTML, but it was too hard. Getting my web design coded is the only thing that keeps me from
actually being able to create the rest of my website. I know that many people find it fun to create

Well, it`s been a while since I last time posted on T17 and I really missed this forum. Well, I
started taking lessons on webdesign in my school. It`s pretty hard because the professor is pretty

This is my new template I'm going to be using for my new site. It took me 3 days to do. I spend
day 1 drawing it up sorry I cannot upload my draft sketch as my scanner is not working. The next 2
days I spent drawing it up in photoshop. The colours are kinda generic I know but thats my style. I

I just finished building my template in photoshop. it took me long hours and and sleepless nights. i
was psyched about finishing the temp. i was like i am THE MAN yayaya. well i just realized that i am
not the man since i got no idea what to do with the template. how do i upload it onto my website? do
i need to convert it to html by using an editor? so my question is how do i convert it to html? and
then after that i upload it right?...

Looking over template monster's templates, and saw some templates that I like. I thought to
myself " How would I install one of these if I do get it?" So that's my question, how do you?
On the site it says you need adobe photoshop for some of the skins the ones that use flash I think,
but can anybody tell me how would I install it?...

This one will probably be a no-brainer for most of you talented folks out there, but I'm still
not there yet. I just installed Cutenews and want to do a simple color change to the text within
the "default" template. All I want to do is change the color on the title and comment text. I
wouldn't mind changing the font size either. I tried inserting html code but that didn't
work, so either I'm inserting it the wrong place or I'm using the wrong code. What's the

Hey guys I have a question for normal sites what kind of coding do you use besides the regular HTML,
and CSS I realize for logins and forums etc.. php is common and the language of choice for database
interaction but besides that for more cosmetic appealing appearence do you use anything else? Im
asking this question cause im thinking of learning Java but im not sure how much that would help my
web site design skills. And if thats not the one(in your opinon) to learn if I want to get better

If there is anyone out there who is familiar with this CMS and knows about their template design,
can you please speak up. It seems like no one at Joomla.org ever answers any of the questions I
