| | Hello, I am trying to add an email account, but I'm having problems.
When I go into my Cpanel and attempt to add an email account I get a message similar to "the account you are trying to create, You have exceeded the maximum number of email accounts, with the password password has been created successfully"
And, of course, no email account is created. I know I am not approaching any of my limits (Especially not on email accounts, since it's unlimited) so I'm getting a bit confused. It may also be worth knowing that I have added email accounts in the past that have sent and recieved mail just fine. I'm just having problems creating an email account now. |

The value "Unlimited" is still not recognized by cPanel from WHM. This has been reported but cPanel is not releasing the patch. I have manually allowed "99" for most of your settings but only "9" for Parked and Add-on domain. This is the default and maximum allowed numbers. If you need more email accounts or subdomain just PM me--these are unlimited. Thanks.

use google apps. it will give you more emailaccounts and comfort for free

Somebody Uploaded A File Onto My Hosting Account [resolved]
(4) This has really scared me a little. I went into my cpanel to see a file that I did not install, in
my File manage. It was called "SubVersion." Pretty confused what it's all about, but I found a

How To Transfer Files Directly From My Computer To The Trap17 Account
(8) Hi! I've been hosted in trap17 for almost 4 months now. In the beginning, I tried to setup a
WebDisk to directly transfer files from my computer to my hosting account, but I didn't manage
to make it work. It might have been from my Vista's weird firewall settings, or my ISP settings,
I have no idea. Anyway, I used the File Manager since, as I don't have a lot of files on my
site. Needless to say, it is really annoying when I do just some little changes and I have to go
again through CPanel, FileManager, UploadFile... pffff So my question to you... How....
Problem Concerning Credits Reduced
Reduced when I created a hosting account (12) My free web hosting account request for the second package was approved, which means that at the
time of the request (the topic itself) or the topic, however you want to name it, i had something
over 37 credits, positive and green of course, and when the admin actually approved the request, and
we all know that exactly when we see some changes on the request topic title, for instance, the
addiction of the words: "denied", "approved", et cetera. The point is that when the admin approved
today i had about 45 or 47 credits, and i created then the hosting account that only....

Suspended Account
I need help and fast (1) My account was recently suspended because my hosting credits went below 0.00 days, this was totally
unintentional because i was away and didn't have access to a computer. It was a family issue.
Anyways i posted in the forums and my hosting credits are now 6.34 days, but when i try to log into
the c-panel it doesn't want to enter. It doesn't say anything about an error, the page
simply doesn't load. I don't know what the problem is and i want to use the same sub domain.
what should i do. do my credit have to go up to a certain number or what exactly is....
Cannot Connect With Ftp [resolved]
Default account can, but not created FTP account. (3) I have a bit of a strange problem that someone here may be able to help with. I am preparing my new
Trap17 account for my new site, and am setting up FTP access. I can login quite fine by using the
default login details, using my cPanel username and password as my FTP login credentials. However, I
have created a new FTP account using cPanel, giving access directly to the /public_html/ folder,
with a username of webmaster. Below is the result of a Core FTP session, which shows that my
password is not being accepted... Resolving ftp.travstatesmen.trap17.com... Connect ....
Host Problems
Need some help (7) Hey, recently ive applied and been accepted for a host. Now, i set up an account and then tried to
get to the access panel.. Didnt worked... I thought it might be because of my domain, so i got
another 15 credits and transferred the domain.. Now, i try clicking on "cPanel Login", but it wont
even open it.. It just says "error by loading page"... whats going ? ive lost 45 credits already

Form Not Returning Correct Email Address
(5) I have just noticed another side effect of the recent server migration. On my web site I have a
comment form. After filling in the form the user gets a confirmation email and I get an email to
tell me someone filled in the form, and showing me the data that were filled in. First of all, I
got all emails twice, but I think I managed to fix that in the PHP code. What is worse, though, the
user still gets his/her confirmation and thank you email, but, instead of my email address, the
From: field now gives an aaddress on the server my account is on, ie. the gamma server. D....

Can't send or receive email. (1) Hi, I'm having a serious problem. I had a mail account set up through my Cpanel. My site is
zoebelkin.co.cc and my mail server is mail.zoebelkin.co.cc!!! The mail account which I'm talking
about is admin@zoebelkin.co.cc But for a week I was not getting mail. Now that's wierd cause I
get something around 10 mails daily. I then sent a mail from one of my other mail id at other mail

Gamma Servers' Problem
This topic is for all who have their account on Gamma Server & ha (1) Okay I see a lot of chaos all around and my site zoebelkin.co.cc is still down. Everything including
FTP, CPanel etc are down. My site is on the gamma server. I see that all the servers are moved
around a lot and the IP blocks also changing. So what is the new IP set for 'gamma'. When
doing a reverse check on gamma I see it is still assigned to it's previous IP but when I'm
trying to access the previous IP's port 80 then I get a Server not found error. Also the
gamma.xisto.com name for the server fails to open the default Apache page which it used to ....
My Account Status
I am still hosted (5) It is a shock, it has been almost a year since I moved to ComputingHost but I just realized that I
am still in the hosted group, could I and my website (used to be http://darran.trap17.com) kindly
be removed because I am not using my trap17 account anymore and the space could be given to someone

Problems With Ftp Access
(1) Well topic title says its all I have problem with ftp access to my account here on trap17 so if
anyone has experienced similar issues lately. The problem is when I try to log on it disconnects me
from the server. I am using filezilla however I have tried to access trough file manager and it
works fine though it is not the same protocol. I must admit I have deleted some folders recently
however I am quite certain that it is all connected to the joomla installation and not some system
files but if there is some specified folder for ftp could you plese write down so I cou....

How do I make it and read my mail? (8) Hey guys, I love how I have sendmail and my own email account here, but I don't know how to
access them. When I created my account, I put in my home email address because that's supposed
to be there. But instead of having my users email me at my home email account in my contact form, I
would like to have them email me here at trap17. I went into my Email Management and saw Add/Remove
Email and created one called Custergrant@custopoly.trap17.com...and it created correctly and all.
But if I have users email at this, how do I read it? Do I click Read Webmail? And h....

Problems After Changing Domain
(14) Hi, i have recently bough a top level domain from GoDaddy.com and now I am having a few problems
with it. I first changed the domain name with the domain name changer scirpt thing here at trap and
then i set the nameservers at godaddy. It told me that this can take up to 48 hours but i think
thats only the maximum because from some people ive talked to they told me that it usualy only takes
a few hours. So now i have waited a few days(MORE than 48 hours!!) and I still dont have my site
