Problems In Adding Add-on Domain

I've recently changed my host from trap17 to computing host biggrin.gif and I wanted to setup my second domain name which is mayankgupta.com also

But, when i try to add the domain name in this account......it gives the following error :

QUOTE
Error from park wrapper: mayankgupta.com is owned by another user.


but, I've already changed the nameserver address from trap17 to computinghost's nameserver. Even though I've changed the nameserver...and I've not been able to host my files on the new server....I am able to see mayankgupta.com without any problems.

Please release mayanakgupta.com from the trap17.com server so, that I can set it up on the computing host server.

Did you remove the add-on domain setting in your free account?

You'll have to do this before the server will release it.

You'll have to access the cPanel via the IP address I think.

Try this link and just use your old cPanel username and password:
https://64.69.46.210:2083

This should be all you need.

The servers are clustered. So please remove addon domain or parked domain at GAMMA (Trap17 account) and try again at ComputingHost (server : zeta).

Well, can anyone tell me how I can release the add-on domain name.....I tried my level best..but it is not showing me any add-on domain now sad.gif

Hey OpaQue can you please release the domain youself.....if you can I'll be greatful.

I doubt the cpanel is any different from computinghost to traps. So just click on add-on domain and you should see a delete button somewhere and then you select the domain and then click delete. So that should release it.

I didn't that's why I am requesting Opaque to do so. I tried it everywhere...in add-on, parked and even sub domains too! but it was not listed anywhere.

Sorry for the bump post...But can you please release the domain from your end. I was not at all able to find out the way of releasing the domain from my end.

Alright, I resolved it myself!
In case anyone of you faces any problem like this..then simply follow these instructions :

1. Go to http://www.trap17.com/process
2. Select Terminate Hosting account.
3. Follow the instructions
4. Add the domain in your computinghost account. smile.gif

    Ok so while the servers were being moved all three of my sites hosted on the Xisto network were down
    for like a week, not all that good but I didn't say anything about it because I know that
    migrating servers can't be all that easy and problems are bound to happen and now two of my
    sites are back up but one of them is not and hasn't been for almost two weeks. If you type in
    offroaddatabase.com without the www. it comes to some weird site that I am not affiliated with but
    if you add the www. sometimes my site comes up and other times it does not. I spend a lot....

    the nameservers are what we have in our account info when we login any ideas to why this is not

    This is a question that can be for Trap17 hosted sites as well, but since I'm not a hosted
    member of Trap17 anymore and now a computinghost member I will ask it here. I have a domain name
    set to the name servers ns1.computinghost.com and the ns2 one, this is my 1st Domain name so
    everything on my site is like mysite.com with all the subdirectories etc. Well I bought 2 new
    Domain names and pointed them to the same name servers and I've tried tons of things but I

    Hi, There has been a topic about this before in the trap17hosted members area but now i think i
    will make one here because i will be buying a Computinghost hosting plan. When i went through the
    registrationprocess to buy the hosting something caught my eye. The nameservers are: Primary
    Nameserver: NS1.COMPUTINGHOST.COM Secondary Nameserver: NS2.COMPUTINGHOST.COM which will not
    work with a .de domain according to the denic specifications. . I was told that it will work
    with the Windows hosting plans so i assume you have a diffrent namserver(s) for me /smi....
