Paypal Alternatives

As an avid ebay user, paypal is something that I cannot live without. However, the time has come where they will not let me make a free transaction without suspending my account for weeks at a time. The reason being that I purchase a lot of Roman artifacts from the Netherlands and the Balkins. Paypal sees these as risky transactions even though they are ones that I make every week or so. I would like to know if anybody has come across any alternatives to PayPal that still have the usability of PayPal. I recently went to the site www.paypalsucks.com, however they seemes to have comercialized as the only alternatives that they offer is for merchant credit card processing, which I have no need for. I look forward to your responses.

Why don't you try these:
I have accounts at both - but so far haven't put them to use. So I won't be able to provide you with a review. Maybe someone else, who's used these can give you one.

Well..I have been using STormpay and it is really nice service and i started stormpay because their network is very much bigger than PayPal...I mean paypals only accepts members from some specific countries if you are not from those short listed countries you are not able to open account or take money from them but i think storm pay is good in that case...but ofcourse people know more about paypal..storm pay is not very famous

I wasn't even aware that PayPal did such things if they thought you were doing some sort of 'risky' business with eBay. I just recently started using eBay (only bought two things so far) and think that I'll be using it a lot more in the future. Perhaps I should open up accounts at the other places that were mentioned. Do you know if you can transfer money between places?

the problem could be that you are not properly verified with paypal as the same thing happend to me once sowhat i did was i closed my paypoal account and opend a new one got verafied properly and it worked fine so mabye that what you need to do.

That "StormPay" looks absolutely brilliant!!! I might think about using it when I finally get things to sell over the web... but you don't have to put ads on your site or something, though? And is it only US currency? 'Cos I live in the UK.

PayPal definitely is the best option, because it is so wide-spread. I know of no other e-banking service that would offer you what PayPal can. Unfortunately, not only does PayPal have something against "risky transactions" (your problem), but it also isn't available everywhere in the world (my problem).

That is why I use MoneyBookers - they support more countries than PayPal, and I also think you can deposit money into a real bank account wherever you are. I find this a great advantage over PayPal, but only if you receive money from other people. If you are thinking of using it for online shopping, give up. It is not impossible, but it is difficult to find sites that support MoneyBookers.

Just to let people know that StormPay is not an online payment site. They are very much like ebay. It is an online auction site not a payment site-reply by stepmich

Though I am not entirely sure because I have only used it once. Do any of you not trust paypal?...

  5. Paypal Scam Warning! - New email attempt to hack your account (21)
I've been getting those stupid scam emails for years, where they tell you to update your

is to forward them to SPOOF@PAYPAL.COM, then delete the message without going to the site. Now

I've never worked with pay pal before and I was going to open an online store. Being the php

Hello all- So I've been thinking recently, and I wanted to use PayPal's "web payments Pro"
on my website as a way for users to purchase their computers directly the way they have customized
them. I need some help getting the system in place though. I know a decent amount about website
design, coding, and such, but very little about "e-commerce" in general. What do I need to get this
payment system set up? Shopping cart, payment processor, what? Its all pretty new to me. If someone

  8. Paypal Shoping Cart - everyone probably knows this but i have a question too (1)
Ok i signed up with paypal premium. The free sign up really supprised me but the fees they dock you
with are present (yet not very bad). But i found out how good there shoping cart was. Its basicly
automated so you wont have to input very much on one button. It also generates the html code for
you to use to. But The problem with this cart is that you have to manually make each button for
each product. But at least you give your users a secure checkout and have an email notification for
each purchase that gets made. Now here is my question: Is it ok to have people...
  9. Paypal Shopping Carts - Are they simple? (2)
I have no experiance with online shopping carts (though offline, that is a completely other story
lol!). Anyway, what I'm wondering is, are the shopping carts that paypal offers simple to
impliment, and do they do a good job? Can you modify them in ways to make them do certain things
that you want to do? For instance, I wish to sell online products, that once someone buys something,
it gets sent to them, as soon as the money arrives in the account. Since they are images, or stories
or other digital media, this shouldn't be a problem, right? Or do I have to go a...
