i use paypal. paypal is the easiest, the most used and why would you even bother with the other ones lol. i'd never even heard of most of the other ones. paypal is safe and secure and i'm not the kind of person who would actually bother to use anything other than paypal.

I like using PayPal. If that service is unavailable then I have to use my card just via the website that I;m shopping on.

I prefer PayPal to any other payment system available because it is well known, and secure.

Second that on the pay pal it is fast reliable and fairly secure to keep most of the script kiddies out of your credit unfortunately lamode i have not had much experience dealing with the e-gold payment system and as far as im concerned pay pal is as far i i go. there are a couple of websites that i had which used to have the pay pal safety statistics im sure if you google for statistics of sum sort you will find them.

I like Pay Pal.....its user interface seems more professional...and site too.....than E-gold. I haven't tried out the other options yet...but in my comparison between pay pal and e-gold...i would choose pay pal....

Having a more professional means that at least...the company is financially stable and strong enough to engage a good design team...which means...it is less likely to be a scam or cheat....or fall...

I mean, which scammer would invest hundreds of dollars into his site just to scam for your bits of cash?

Even so, pay pal has existed for a very long time...as in a few years...so its reputation is there. There are some sites i know of that say pay pal 'sucks'...but really....if you look closely, they are just trying to promote their (the company who set up the website) payment method.

Seriously....the most safest way would be check...if for a big amount of money, or t/t...

Unless you bank scams you...that is another story...

Hi

I didn't know that there were other than paypal. Paypal I know is owned by ebay and I figured it was a monopoly microsoft style.
I guess I will have to check the others.

Thanks

Paypal. It's more commonly known. I didn't know what Stormpay was until Netbux demanded it. And e-Gold I learned about on this forum. And right now I just heard of moneybooker.

I only use paypal. Why? Because it is the payment that most of the online stores or auctions use. It is a very reliable service and I have had no problems with it. I'm not going to switch or try anything else either because I don't need to, paypal covers all of my purchasing needs.

I can't use payal coz it doesn't support my country, good free service is E-gold, and good paid service for e-commerce is 2checkout i suppose ^^

I am not hooked to a particular service when it comes to online payment, though there are so many options out there.
Most of the time, it will be either a debit or credit card which is acceptable by the service I use online.

Sometimes I also use the services via an online banking account like mobile payments, electricity payments and for other utility services.

I do have an paypal account which I use very rarely, reason being, most of the sites that provides paypal access also provides credit card access and why take the pain of creating an paypal account. There are some services which will only agree to payments only from a particular service... see checkout (a payment service launched by Google some days back) for example (Some of the Google services, do not remember which one exactly will accept payments only from checkout.. i think the service was Google base. But It might have changed it model now...).

There are n number of such 3rd party services pitching in... these days, financial service providers itself like retail banks, try and challenge in these payment services against separate providers... Anyways consumers have options and that is a very good thing to have.

I use paypal.
Because they don`t need credit card. I can withdraw my credit by transfering into my bank account.

I am surprised to see Alertpay is not in the list. A far as Alertpay is concerned, I have great hope and expectations all fulfilled by Alertpay. Its easy safe and smooth.
I do have an paypal account but do not use it because alertpay proved more promising.
Paypal however is a great complement when it comes to EBay. The tieup and integration is seamless, giving you almost every facility that you would need.
I have personal experience with both and found the Alert Pay much better than pay pal as far as the Coverage and payment solutions are concerned . There is also an other payment processors which is epay.vg a fast growing online payment service . please observe and reply which is the best for small business owners .
AlertPay is much better. paypal has a history for freezing accounts and stuff. I would only use paypal to accepts some small change for some small business, I wouldnt rely on Paypal with Big cash. I would rather with AlertPay.
Many people are going through Paypal limitations and problems and are having their money held for 180 days. Paypal are criminals if you study their TOS because they are breaking U.S. law and avoid being sued because it costs over $8000 to bring them to court. If you don't believe me take a look at this thread which explains everything and involves attorneys and lawyers threatning to sue Paypal: http://paypalsucks.com/forums/showthread.p...amp;old_block=0
With everything said paypal has the most members registered

I use paypal, it's the best of them all, but moneybooker is also good.

The trick is to create a bank account, specificaly to payments online, so, when you need to buy something, just deposit money from your first bank account into your bank account that you want to use for online payments.

Anyway, that trick is just to unsure you don't get cracked by some carder or cracker.

Today, things are much more difficult for a cracker to be able to find all the keys and personal numbers (BI and IRS/IRC numbers, which are used to login and process bank transfers and so on), because besides those numbers, you also have another key which is used to confirm the online payment or transfer, and that special key no one has, and you will never write it completely in a web form, so you do not have to worry about online payments or money transfers, just remember that special key and burn the paper.

It is inevitable, everyone, sometime in the future, will need to use online payments and transfers and so on, so why not start now, i can assure you that things are very secure now, 128bits transfer still can't be cracked just like that, and even if a group of crackers wanted to try to crack somneone, to get all his/her money, they won't go steal a couple of dollars, when that happens, it will happen to steal thousands of millions of dollars, not the couple of dollars or even your couple of undreds of dollars because that don't mean nothing for crackers, they will not risk a sentence for a couple of hundreds, don't you think? I do not think, i know!
