NOKIA PC SUITE
Nokia Pc Suite Alternative
I have been using Nokia phones since their first mobile appeared in the market and I was always amazed at how such a good phone maker could produce such a clunky software to interface it to a PC.
I keep my N95 loaded with music because I spend countless hour waiting at airports, but hated loading the music and creating playlists with the PC suit specially when compared with doing it winamp and other similar programs.
Recently, I was informed that a n... read more.
there are many clients such as ir2phone and stuff which probably allow you to do that, basically, they have certain negatives, they dont support all phones, and pairing with some of the new nokia phones are not possible neither supported, as a result they are not popular.. btw, why look for an alternative when a good functioning software is available to you?
ummm, there are a lot of good software for transfering data to phone, certainly nokia is the most.if you have a laptop you can also use the infared COM of your pc easily by windows directly.i can introduce you two great software for nokia only, owned amount of using rate.first is MMMB(MobiMB Mobile Media Browser),which is easy to use for its clear look.despite clear but owns strong and full function.another one is famous -[color=red]Oxygen Phone Manage 2[color].this one is too powerful for nokia symbian series 40.
i just accounted for them a little.you can search them by google and download from some cellphone forum easily.
Hmm, I am too looking for an alternative, the "Nokia PC Suit" is annoying by it's nature, with a process running in the background as default and such. + You can't quite use your cellphone as flash drive, and moving things around, since you have to have the "Nokia Connectivity Suit"
For the promotional activities of my business I require to send bulk sms...Say approximately 500 sms / day..I am using Nokia 6275 mobile phone...Kindly advise me how it is possible to send bulk sms attached to PC suit...Which software I need to download for this texting message.
Reasons why
I do not like Nokia suite: It is slower then any of its ansestors. It slows
Windows dramatically, getting connected to Nokia and other sites every time you
Sms or synch your contacts. It is innumerous size (you can fit 10 operating
Systems in 100mb), injecting in to manly system process, stays there hidden when
You think you close all Nokia stuff and communicated to number of sites without
Telling you anything.
I would not
Be surprised Nokia making money by selling information about its users to marketing
And government agencies for few cents per head.
Hey.
Nokia PC Suite vs. "an alternative" is like:
- Catalyst Control Center vs. ATI Tray Tools (50:1 size/time/RAM usage)
- Adobe Reader vs. Foxit Reader
- iTunes package vs. Foobar2000
.. And so on..
As for the money making comment.. I read an article a few weeks ago about Symantec keeping track of the illegal file sharing all over the world. There are several ways to monitor this, but I wouldn't be surprized if they did it using their "security" programs (antivirus/firewall) to spy on the users.
Have a nice day. :)

Recently, I was informed that a new version of PCsuite was available and that it had "greatly improved" music module and jumped into installing it in the hope that my complaints had been heard, but to my amazement, the new version requires that I install a ton of, even more clunky, software from Microsoft.
What the hell is happening at Nokia ! I like their phones because I believe Symbian is far better than the MS alternative and now I discover that they are pushing me into the MS realm.
Fortunately, I still have the old version of PCsuite, quickly re-installed it and here I am looking for an "alternative', because I am afraid Nokia will find a way to make it unusable the next time I change my phone.
Replying to hulunes
I tried Oxygen software as a substitute to Nokia Pc suite but still the same problem. The Oxygen would only read one no listed in the mobile category. It would simply leave out the others listed in this category... Just like the pc suite did...CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
THE DETECTIVE TRICK (Mobile Spying) Now you can spy on anyone using your cellphone. Just do the
following. 1. Activate the "Automatic Answer" in the headset profile of your cellphone and set
the ringing volume to "Mute" 2. Short-circuit the left middle and right pins on the bottom of the
mobile phone with all connections touching each other this will activate profile "Headset". If
you cant do this just keep your earphone connected to mobile. 3. Now place it under a table in a
room and call it. Now you can use your phone for checking out what people ar....
I love mobile phones, especially Nokias. I own a Nokia 6300 - it isn't anything special, a

Sending Fake SMS There is a loop hole in Nokia mobile phone using which you can send fake

Hi All, I had the misfortune of leaving my phone in a taxi cab over the weekend and I'm looking
for a replacement. I would like to stay with Nokia and I'm not looking for a corporate type
phone, more like something that I can take anywhere with me and it won't look out of place. I
saw the Nokia 5300 in store near my house and I was wondering what everyone thinks of it. I like the
style and the integrated music player. Any opinions would be welcome.....

You can tell us what's, in your opinion, the best mobile or the best brand, but you can tell us
what the worst. The better if it is still on the market, so don't say that the worst is the IDIN
IFIIMYGA (I Don't Know Its Name I Find It In My Grandfather's Attic). In my opinion the
worst is the Motorola C650. A my friend own it and I think that it's something really terrible.

I own a tmobile sidekick 2. In fact, I am posting right now, in the middle of class, on it. This
device is amazing. It features a full web browser, aim and yim services, calendar, camera, email,
and it's a phone. You can also play games on it. You might be thinking, "wow! I want one! This
device is amazing!" unfortunatly, it is not amazing. Here's what the hype won't tell you.
First of all, the service. I'm not sure about the rest of the country, but the service here
sucks. There are maybe 5 people in my town that have a sidekick. Ohio is not a huge '....
Today the mobile phones are more similar to a video game than a telephone... its haves games, games,
games and more games, 100000000 ring tones(like a Nintendo), internet conection (like and Xbox),
Video Player(like a Play Station 2), etc... waht u think about this?....
There has been much talk about the "microwave radiation" that mobile phones emit. View 1: Yes,
there is possibly some small risk from using mobile phones. It is vastly lower than the risks from
smoking, driving or crossing the road, and probably significantly lower than the risk from TVs and
TV transmitters. After many years of research, there is still no clear proof of any risk at all.
Statistics show that you are more likely to win a lottery jackpot, be struck by lightning, or even
spontaneously combust than you are to be damaged by using a mobile phone! You are....
