the is the unofficial official version of IE7 here is some stuff that has been added to the new IE browser
-Phising Filter to phish out the fake sites -pop up blocker is in its new location instead of going to tool internet options to tweak it just go to tools -also they have manage add-ons that are pick up by progrmas like yahoo for instance -rss feeds
-now with the tabs if you just started ie it will havee a blank tab when you click on it it will be like a new window except that it will be blank and then a new tab will follow right next to it.
everything else is just the same, the only thing im not to fond of is where the url bar is at you can see it it is up top and meh hopefully they put it backdown to its home on release
the beta is about 11k file |

The toolbars look a little too cluttered for my liking, I'm gonna stick with Opera for the time being.

well I have to say that I personally dont like it, I downloaded it at a friends house (well I'm not going to risk my own computer with a pre release Microsoft product). I dont know what it was it just felt a little rushed I got the impression that some of the features were implemented poorly, Tabbed browsing in particular I felt that it was just there cos everyone else has it, and it was more of an afterthought than a genuine feature. That said I do like the small button next to the tab bar which opens a new tab. But my biggest problem with it (apart from I suspect they have done very little 'under the hood') is that the interface seems cluttered (and yeah I also absolutely hate the fact that you cannot move the tab bar I mean whos 'great' idea was it to put the toolbar at the bottom when nearly every other app has it right at the top.

hmm.. i'll definately try this. i try everything t least once... its just that my previous expierences with ie were really bad. i got flooded with spyware, viruses and what not which all miraculously stopped after switching to firefox. ;T if ie7 is as stable and proteted as they claim it to be i may stick with it but firefox being so basic and easy to use has my vote for teh time being.

QUOTE(Tetraca @ Jul 1 2006, 04:06 PM) Why can't you just install over it? Just do it that way...
Ok, so if you are trying to install IE6 over IE7 it will not install because says that IE7 is a newer version and thus can't be installed, but for Vista I found that microsoft has not released a version of IE7 that thinks its compatable, I have IE7 beta 2 and I was trying to update to beta 3, but it says that my OS is not supported, so untill microsoft gets there act togethere I can only use beta 2 and the other browsers, like firefox. Its rather anoying.

If you are running it on xp, just go into control panel, add/remove programs, then at the top click show updates. Then look through the list for IE7 as an update and just uninstall it, it will then go back to IE 6. Now my question for anyone is how do you uninstall it in Vista, I have Vista and have tried the method that I just described and its not there, I also look in the windows updates area and looked a all the updates I have installed and its not there, I am trying to uninstall it so that I can use Beta 3.

Skyos Beta 8.5 Better But Still Very Beta
An alternative OS+GUI, a bit like BeOS (0) Mostly for entertainment and to see whether Robert Szeleney (one-man shop) has made much progress on
it, I downloaded and installed SkyOS 5 beta 8.5 on my main basement x86, an eMachines T2958 with
add-in NVidia. I had tried 8.4 but had some issues. Fewer issues in 8.5. This is way-alternative,
far left (or right, rather) of Linux. For an early beta it's pretty slick. Looks and works a
bit like BeOS, but more current and with a custom GUI dev system (SkyGI) that beats the heck out of
X, IMHO. Sky recognized most of my hardware without trouble except no sound. The pa....
Broadband In Gas

Microsoft Confirmed IE7 Compatible with XP and newer
Internet Explorer 7 only for XP (26) Micrsoft confirmed what we've already expected. The new-coming explorer IE 7 will only be
compatible with windows XP and newer. The two reasons why old dinosaurs that still use Windows 2000

Voip(voice Over Internet Protocol)

economical means of communication. I have know VOIP for quite a some time since i started online.
