i'm 99% sure you're allowed to use htaccess, thats a common function. Also there are multiple posts on this forum asking about uploading .htaccess files and modifying them and if it weren't allowed someone surely would have posted something saying that it wasn't allowed by now. just backup your current one to make sure you don't screw your hosting.

Mod rewrite is allowed, along with .htaccess. I use it to make dynamic pages look static and have a proper name in search engine results.

Allowed Memory Size Exhausted
(7) I have a forum and content management system which both use the same database. A module on my forum
runs an automated task to backup this database to my email address and also in a directory locally.
A couple of weeks ago I stopped getting backup emails, and when i run the ask manually I get the

Trap17 Dynamic Recent Post/topic Image

Gamma Servers' Problem
This topic is for all who have their account on Gamma Server & ha (1) Okay I see a lot of chaos all around and my site zoebelkin.co.cc is still down. Everything including
FTP, CPanel etc are down. My site is on the gamma server. I see that all the servers are moved
around a lot and the IP blocks also changing. So what is the new IP set for 'gamma'. When
doing a reverse check on gamma I see it is still assigned to it's previous IP but when I'm
trying to access the previous IP's port 80 then I get a Server not found error. Also the
gamma.xisto.com name for the server fails to open the default Apache page which it used to ....

The danger of using Index Manager and other .htaccess altering tools.. (3) A few minutes ago I was looking at site management tools section in my Control Panel. The tool

Is it allowed? (3) Everybody knows of sites that can give you free forums like ipbfree, mnvisionfree, forumer, and many

Problem Setting Up Addon Domain As Allowed Number Is 0 [resolved]

Can you use htaccess? (3) I was wondering if you could change and example link, http://frugoproductions.com/ index.php?n=
