I've tried Yahoo and Google and they both will not verify. I've tried adding the meta tag, and file to the cPanel File Manager and tried re-verifying but theres no use.

Yes the problems is like this in precise 1. We register Google Webmaster Tools, so we will need to create a filename from google and upload it to our hosting space in Trap17. 2. After uploading it, then we use Google Webmaster Tools to verify the existence of the file, but it always say failed to verify 3. Me and Sky try the same thing again and again and failed
But just now, I have tried to ask google to verify it again and it has succeed verifying, but sky is not around, hopes to tell him this good news.

Anyways, glad to hear theres a fix, and some good news. One thing though, I could register with Google on my old GTA site (hosted by SabreHost) but I couldn't this morning on Trap.

Hmm, i really think that maybe google has time out, or when this is posted, admin has fixed it.
Now have you try using the webmaster tools Sky? Try for first, creating a sitemap, for each sub forum create a link, read this http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.php
Then save the file into sitemap.xml put it in your hosting account, and use the webmaster tools and add the url to it, about 2-3 hours google will crawl your sitemap, and the result will be shown in google search, this is convenient and very good way to optimize Google Search to your site.

If Google doesn't wat to index your site, (and you have a free .trap17 domain) I would suggest using a www.smartdots.com domain (free sub such as .net.tc). That is how Google indexed me before. MSN was the best for me though. They Indexed my site within hours, and they ranked it quite high
Although there is no doubt google is massively significant in the field of online advertising, I think it's a good idea to put your feelers out into other areas. Google are so huge and dominant they get to pretty much do as and when they please. Your adwords keywords have been puttering along fine at 20cents...now it's $5 and what are you going to do about it? Relying too much on just Google for your online promotion is quite dangerous. Have a contingency plan to get you out of the heat. It would be good to see some more of the smaller search engines used and promoted more.
well actualy i have a free trap17 account too. and my link for chantellepaige.org is ranked number 2 when searching chantelle paige, make sure your coding is done correctly.. also do you have a domain name, maybe buying one will fix your problems? or google is just offline for all i know haha

The main thing is this little problem has been resolved. Google.com is indexing my website/forum now, so we don't really need this open anymore...right?

Just got my dot.com up for my site and was wondering. for the few people that I have not been able

Hi! I've been hosted in trap17 for almost 4 months now. In the beginning, I tried to setup a
WebDisk to directly transfer files from my computer to my hosting account, but I didn't manage
to make it work. It might have been from my Vista's weird firewall settings, or my ISP settings,
I have no idea. Anyway, I used the File Manager since, as I don't have a lot of files on my
site. Needless to say, it is really annoying when I do just some little changes and I have to go

Trap17 is more navigatable and has a cooler cPanel than computinghost... This may be opinion, but
the HTML editor on computinghost is long gone. The cPanel is the newer version but as always newer
isn't always better. So what if they have a new cpanel (ensim did the same thing)…the fact is
they left old software on for years when much newer and more secure versions are ready. Hell, php6
is about to come out. So in two years plesk, cpanel and ensim will finally go to php6 when php 8 is
available. Just the inablilty to apply security patches alone is enough to nev....

As I said, I had to move my web site away from Trap17 temporarily because I had ran out of disk
space. Now, when my upgrade is finalised, I would like to ask for a little assistance. The provider
I will be moving my site from, back to Trap17 also uses Cpanel, and the admin let me know to do a
backup and that backup could be simply transferred via FTP to my new provider. The backup includes
all my files and MySQL data, in other words, the whole web site. It is in a .tar.gz format. How do I
get all this across? Do I 'unzip' the file and then transfer them bit by bi....

ok i went into the hosting account center to make myself a new domain name. now instead of
www.boaw.trap17.com/nuke i want it to be www.boawcrew.com.. so i clicked in change domain name and
they asked me for my username n password but after that they wanted me to make my new domain and for
the examples they have it lke XXXXXXX.com, and thats where im abit confused cuz im not sure if i
should put in the www. before the name or not. im not sure if that really matters either.....
