I think this is good only until you have enough MyCENTs to buy a domain. They always have legal rights to take it away if they feel like it. Also you can only get 2 or 3 (I forgot) without paying.
Though the DNS is nice...

P.S. you may want to quote the features so that you don't get in trouble

Hey dude a great contribution

I suppose this is not the thing to really share as now a days almost 100% people who own a website had already searched for a free domain name such as this co.cc

I suppose this site is the fastest one to grow in the history of free domains.......... It earns alot through its advertisement and people love this site although it offers low level domain.......

You know what this is the only domain which inspite of being a low level is considered a reputed domain.........

so three cheers for CO.CC

Its shorter, that is what people wants. IMO, its up to the user on how they want the sub-domain to be. I see both have its advantages and disadvantages.

Ya Domain something.co.cc is free of cost.
But they offer money if you want to good domain. I tried it several but money with good domain.
But anyway it is good. They have full dns Management as well.

CO.CC it's a good service, it's free and if you are new to the web design scene, it's the perfect way to practice how to set up domains, and get familiar with all the processes involving the creation of a web page, but I'll call it a transition domain until you feel confident enough or have the money to have a .com or any of those domains. And now with MyCents system is way more easier to have a domain.

The bad thing is that a first level domain like a .com is indexed first on the search engines that second or third level domains, and the other thing is that people by default when you give your domain assume is .com and if you have a co.cc is harder to remember and people that is not web familiar could get confused.

I use them for my domain *points to sig* at least until I can afford a proper domain name and website etc. Which I will eventually get from xisto. But for now it's a good free service for those really can't afford a domain name or hosting that provides a free domain name. I've used it for another site as well, that is currently down cause my host disappeared. Go figure. It's nice to have an established host like trap, I don't think they will be disappearing any time soon. Course with the economy you never know.
