There is a second article located here: http://www.theregister.com/2006/01/25/flyi...ar_launch_site/ this one is a little bit updated and it talks about possibilities of what could have happened in order for the image to come up like that. But look at the first link before your read this one. I found the articles amusing. What do you think about it? What are your ideas of what caused it?
there should be a link towards the end of the first article. the last sentence of the article says "Where's my bloody flying car?" is very simply "Right here"*. just click on the last word and it will give a download prompt. click it and it will take you to the car in google earth.
Awesome! That is cool. I will have to go and find it. I can't believe there would be a flying car. But that is what happens when you use google earth. People find interesting things. Tell me when you find a UFO
Firstly, after a good glance at the first article I was a kind of confuse because the flying car in question doesn't look like one at all. It looks like some thing is there but not like a flying car. I could be some thing out there, but it doesn't look like one in the air also.
The second article is interesting and I'm reading more to understand. It looks quite interesting.
you know what at first i really thought of harry potter when i saw the words flying car. lol. Can't help it. That looks cool. What if it could be a big o' balloon shaped like a car? lol. or is the government hiding things from us? that is the question. lol.

This article actually made me laugh! I really wonder how it is possible for cars to fly probably something on nuclear radiation hahaha with infinite energy!!
But well.. Could you tell us what word you specifically search on google earth to see this phenomenon happening? I am pretty curious to see where I can find flying cars haha...
Might of been actually planes or some bad image showing or UFOs lol
But yes, I love much google earth, you can see so much stuffs on there, but too bad you cannot see things moving haha
I never knew they had invented flying cars so early.... it's probably just a car and the sun is probably setting down/rising and the shadow is long that it looks like the car is flying.
Google launched a new service wow 'Street View' now you can walk on the streets with google
at this moment Street view available in New York; Miami; Denver; Las Vigas and San Fransisco .. give
it a try on Google Maps ....
Well a while back there was a bunch of talk on area 51, and how it is a secret location and all
that. They say it contains aliens (I doubt that). They say all types of mumbo jumbo, I think its all
for show. I typed Are 51 in on the google earth and it zoomed in on it. Turns out Area 51 is just a
flight training sort of thing. So don't listen to the alien crap!!....
I installed Sabayon linux from a dvd I got free with a magazine and guess what? It had Google Earth
preinstalled. And I was thinking that google was not supporting linux (with there being no gtalk or
picasa).Google earth actually worked better in sabayon than in windows I don't know why.....
I know this isnt technically google earth but it is google maps. Click Its an online map of a
part of mars. You can look at it with infared, as a photograph, or look at the elevation. Google
moon I also found this. Its a map of the moon, much the same as above. Terciel....

Hi, Google has gone one step forward with it's mapping service and started www.WikiMapia.org.
All of us must be knowing what a "wiki" is. Anyway it's a public repository of knowledge where
users are allowed to change/modify it as per their wish. For a better description you can go to
www.wikipedia.org. Back to wikimapia, it's a real wiki in the sense all the map
details(locations ofcourse) can be changed as per your wish.So you can just put a caption for " my
sweet home" on your building(if visible though) and send the link to anyone else who needs the navi....
I just found myself in this area of the forums for the very first time in my stay here with
trap17... at least i think.... but i was supprized that one of the google services subfoums, that i
was sure to be there, wasnt there! Google sketchup. I don't know how popular it is yet, but
it's a free 3d modeling program by google. After modeling you can dump your models into google
earth (thats why i put this topic here), and share your buildings with the world! Unfortunatly
google sketchup seems to be mainly designed for google earth. There is no rendering, so yo....
i wonder if you can accsess Google Earth offline i dont think you can but could you i think the
cache files on your computer from when you have looked at Google Earth will show i really wanna know

i was shown this by a friend and thought it was cool so i downloaded it, http://earth.google.com/
lets you see the world in a 3d image and zoom to any location in the world, it doesnt update its
like a 2 year old picture but its cool because you can zoom to like your house or school etc. and
just look at it and i think you should try it out. its fun!....
The time has finaly arrived, google had released the next generation of Keyhole products, under the

Hi! Recently, I downloaded Google Earth, but I found after downloading that there are actually
different versions of Google Earth...I know that Google Earth is all that I really need to search
the Globe via Satellite, however what are the differences from Google Earth, to, say, Google Earth

Download the two programs Google Earth and the Microsoft Version (I couldn't find what they name
it /sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /> ) If you have a look at
the Macintosh Headquarters in America on Google you will see that the building is there but if you
try to find it on the Microsoft version you will not have much luck as they have covered it over
with a field. The same is for Area 51. On the version that I saw Micosoft Covers It Up with Teal
Boxes but Google once again shows all. The third thing that I have noticed is tha....
does anyone have any information when google plans to update? There are parts that i have seen that
are over 3 years old, i mean i know its the whole world, but if they constantly updated parts it
wouldnt be a big deal, i heard from another forum that they are going to reset the whole world next

i find google earth the best mapping program ever because it shows everything in 3d and you can zoom
in and out right down to the last detail its amazing. This post is a good example of how to post

Well while i was exploring the area near the colorado river ( i think!) i kinda saw a long line of
arabic language all over the map stretching all over the place has anyone seen this things? also i
saw this arabic lines near North Korea at the mountanious ( forgot how to spell it) area. Has anyone
seen the lines anywhere else There's also a crop circle on one of the USA maps if you look
closely enough....
I have read somewhere that with the launch of Google Earth small communities have started to appear
talking about all kinds of stuff. I've even read that there are a few communities on the Aria 51
subject and I was wondering if any of you knew the coordonates of Area 51. I tried to Google that
but I couldn't find anything. It would be interesting to see the quality of the photos.......
I am just wondering if anyone has got the Plus version. I want to know whether its worth paying the

google earth is a cool awsome program. because is is a satelitte and you move the mouse to look at
were you like to look at and it's true i saw my house. it's cool i have a small house from
look ing down at earth. hope you love it you could see cafe's ,schools, police sations,
and you could have it as 3d mode i looked a mt. everest it's TALL and cool download

Has anybody seen the new program from google - Google Earth. it lets you zoom in on anywher in the
world, there is a free version, and thats just as good as the premium version Google Earth Home

alright, the best thing is that it's free. You can see some people's houses, like in nyc,
but you can also see landmarks, big cities, landscapes, and it's all woven together really well.
I always like google's stuff You can eaven see forgen countries, and it streams all this info
off the net to save hard drive space. I would definately check this out if you are reading this.....
google earth is a revolucionary sistem.. where you can see many citys around the world.. using
satelits photos.. You can use this system like a map.......
