File Manager Problems

I am using my dot com email through Outlook Express. I have no problem in recieving Emails through.
However if I reply to the Email it can not send before there is an Error. The Error message is

Ok, I want to host a video that I have in my computer, but the problem is that the video is too
big, 790MB. My host can't handle a file that huge so I was wondering if there is any way I can
make the video file in my computer smaller? I don't want to mess up the video and make it
smaller, I was wondering if I can keep the current 790MB video that I already have but copy only
about 10MB of the video into a new file that I can use for hosting. Anyone know?...

Hi, i have recently bough a top level domain from GoDaddy.com and now I am having a few problems
with it. I first changed the domain name with the domain name changer scirpt thing here at trap and
then i set the nameservers at godaddy. It told me that this can take up to 48 hours but i think
thats only the maximum because from some people ive talked to they told me that it usualy only takes
a few hours. So now i have waited a few days(MORE than 48 hours!!) and I still dont have my site

Well looks like the servers did come back on line, but now im unable to acess my cpanel. I go to log

I, on my website, have employed a page to upload files on my website. But I'm having problems
using it. When the file is uploaded to the 'temp' directory of my account, and when I use
the function 'move_uploaded_file()' to move this file into the actual directory, it returns

I've chosen to install WordPress manually and things were going well so far...until I hit an
installation error when I tried to run the install.php file on my browser. For the record, I
logged into CPanel and went into MySQL Databases, created the databases, the username and added the

Hi there. I have been trying to upload a zip file only about 2mb to my account through CPanel.
First I tried uploading it to a new folder in public_ftp. Then i tried to put it in the main part
of public_ftp. I also tried the same thing in public_html. It shows the file being uploaded, and i
get 100 %, but alas, when i look in the folders nothing is there. Is there a restriction on .zip
files? I have had no problems as of yet uploading htm and html pages. Please let me know ASAP.

I can't delete a little file using file manager in Cpanel. I'm trying to delete a .png
image, actually, I'm trying to replace it. The response comes back as a success, but when I
reload my site it's still there. Then I go back to the file manager and go up a level, then back
and WOOP! There it is! I'm beyond frustrated here. What is going on?...

I saw my friend using a handy FTP manager to upload stuff stuff onto his site. I wanna know if I can
do that with my trap17 site. Can I download any FTP manager from anywhere and use it here? If so

Hello, I am trying to add an email account, but I'm having problems. When I go into my Cpanel
and attempt to add an email account I get a message similar to "the account you are trying to
create, You have exceeded the maximum number of email accounts , with the password password

hello, well i had created a subdomain and was transferring files into the folder i was disconnect
from the server many times while uploading the files via ftp once when i reconnect, i saw a file
with an unusual name something starting with preftp... i tried deleting the file, but it said that
permission was not granted to do that i tired deleting the complete folder and also tried deleting
the subdomain from the cpanel but it was of no use can anyone help me with this? thx for your time

I'm using FileZilla right now, and trying to upload a second copy of WordPress onto the account
to use as a comic repository. For some reason, a lot of the files are missing, and when I look into
the folders, I see that a lot of the files have a filelength of 0. What gives? Could someone

Well topic title says its all I have problem with ftp access to my account here on trap17 so if
anyone has experienced similar issues lately. The problem is when I try to log on it disconnects me
from the server. I am using filezilla however I have tried to access trough file manager and it

This morning i ran out of credits, but I immediately got them back up to 7. All day I've been
trying my site, and it keeps timing out, and on the odd occasion comes up with a MySQL error. I was
just able to login to my cpanel, and my space usage was 550mb. Yesterday is was approximately 256mb,
and i didnt upload anything. I had to delete files to get it back down to 470, but I cant find what
has made it so big. Now I get a MySQL error on my forum. What do I do?...

I know awhile back there was a question brought up about the /TMP folder taking up space, and if
anyone remembers that topic do you remember if TMP was an acronym for temporary, and can you safely
