Thank you for supporting Xisto and its free web hosting services for all these years and as promised, I am proud to announce the launch of Credit System v3.0. Credit System 3.0 offers complete accounting of user posts which also counts features like views, popularity and reputation to help better distribution of cents.

Unlike Credits, which used to represent 1 day of hosting, we now have a new point system called "myCent". And yes, each mycent represents 1 American "cent". The goal is to make good posts and gather 100 cents. Every time you cross 100, your mycents will be converted to US Dollar and deposited into XistoSupport.com Billing/Shopping area.

So where is my $?
To claim your earnings, simply register above with the same EMAIL which you are maintaining in our records at Trap17.com. suppose, at Trap17, your email address is ABC@ABC.COM, then the email used to register at XistoSupport.com should also be ABC@ABC.COM. Once linked, an account cannot unlink unless you want to freeze the forum account.

Similarly, you can maintain an account at Trap17, Astahost and XistoSupport with the same e-mail and earn credits accordingly.

Your account will get linked automatically within 4-5 hours. Login to your account and you should be able to see "Account Credit Balance: $X.xx". Your member information beside your post will carry myCENT field where you can check your CENT earning value. Once you earn more than 100 cents, it will be deposited automatically into XistoSupport.com Billing area.

Yes, After we discontinue Hosting Credits System, it will soon cause the linked account to get automatically deleted from the Server.
To secure this account, You must activate myCENTS and then Order a Package with the same domain name as your Old one.

Existing Members: "Will I be ever asked to Pay? Do I need a Credit Card?"

As long as you are active on our forums making good posts, You keep accumulating your myCENTS automatically. This is as good as real money and hence, you do not require any Credit Card, Age Proof or any Contracts.

Yes, you will have to order a Package by logging inside your Billing & Support Area.

I want to discontinue my old account. I want a NEW SUB-DOMAIN.

At the time of Sign-up, In the notes section please mention "Delete My Old Trap17/AstaHost Account, I understand that this will cause all my data to be erased from the Server Permanently."

Can I buy a Domain First and then use it to buy a hosting? Till then what about my previous account?

First, Secure your Previous account by buying a package with a domain same as the old one. After that, plan a domain. Because, we can change your domain for your account anytime

Sounds like you've added some really great feature to have. I just got the email today saying that my new account is up and running... so I wanted to come here and check it out. I'll have to spend more time later figuring it all out though, because I'm about to leave for the weekend in just a little while. Yes you have to register in order to use the myCENT in order to purchase computinghost packages from your posts in trap17. So if you want to have your own reseller account or the uber VPS package then posting quality is a most in order to maximize your earnings. Also for those who have already registered you iwll notice an affiliation link and so if you get friends or family who are looking for some paid hosting give them your affiliation link and when they go purchase one of the many packages on computing host you will earn a nice little profit for your credit account.

Of course still need some clarification that and as usual no posting your affiliation link in trap17 as it kind of defeats the purpose of spreading computinghost services.

It sounds ok and nice, but from this first post I didn't understand a lot about how the system will work.
I think you should do a full document explaining how the credits will be converted, how will we get those credits (how much the views, popularity, etc count to them) and if and how the two systems (Credit System 2.0 and 3.0) will work in paralel for the starting phase.

I have specifically some questions:
1. If 1 credit will be converted to 1 cent, it means that we still lose 1 cent per day? (And in other words, that my posting for 3 months values 1 lousy US Dollar?)
2. The restriction applying when you accumulate large sums of credits (as that you get less credit per post) will be lifted? Because otherwise it's quite hard to get to 100 credit and so to have domething in your account.
3. This new system is just for people with lots of credits? I usually keep a constant amount of about 10-20 credits, so it doesn't look that this things are directed to someone like me.

Anyway, thanks for the continued interest to make trap17 better, Opaque.

Last added question: Do I have to register now to this new system?

Yeah its a bit confusing as well but I try my best to answer your questions

1. No you will still be earning your hosting credits but you will also be earning cents as well, so you working on earning two different things while only your hosting credits go down while your cents accumalate.

2. I believe the earning rate is quite different for myCENT's then it is for your hosting credits, although quality posting is more important then ever I don't believe the two are tied together. That is a guess though since I don't know what the ratio is at this time but that is the reason to ask questions and those who know it, the admin, will be able to explain everything.

3. No it is for everyone, just like I explain in your first question as you post you will earn cents, so regardless how many hosting credits you have your cents will accumlate over time and will only be deducted if you posts a computinghost plan or top level domain.

your last question yes, if yo uwant to earn myCENTS you need to register through the billing site in order to accumlate money through your posting.
