Hello all my fellow aussies heard about ian thorpe and grant hacket in the swimming in the olympics?

Ian Thorpe is incredible. I watched him pulverize Hoogenband and Phelps last night. Great stuff.

I feel kind of sorry for that Hackett person. What I've seen of him swimming has always had him up against Thorpe, and he's always come second.

How can you guys know soo much about swimming? Here in the US, swimming is never heard of. Baseball is the SPORT. (And Hockey and Basketball and Football.) cool.gif

Im from New Zealand. And thorpes a bit off form. hes not as good as a couple years ago.

a new zealander, Sarah Ulmer bet an australian in the final of the cycling pursuit.

Nz have another gold. Yehhh. And Ulmer broke her own world record, again!!
