"light Bulb Gets Flick In Australia"
- (10)
I got to conduct a presentation about the ban of light bulbs in Australia. Untill 2010 the
government wants to forbid them to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions:
http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/2007-02-...-bulb-ban_x.htm : QUOTE The Australian government
on Tuesday announced plans to phase out incandescent light bulbs and replace them with more
energy-efficient compact fluorescent bulbs across the country. Legislation to gradually restrict
the sale of the old-style bulbs could reduce Australia's greenhouse gas emissions by 4 million
tons by 2012 and cut ho...

In Australia, A Certain 3 Mobile Store...
- There is one store that I would not recommend going to or buying from. (0)
Just a word of warning If possible don't go to the 3 shop in sunnybank plaza, sunnybank
(brisbane). Many of the store employees do not speak english too well, and you will more often than
not get told the wrong thing, or different things. Here is the story: My Dad's phone (which was
3-4 months near the end of the contract) broke, which is understandable after 20months of service,
and due to some health concerns with mum he needed a phone, so he asked them if he could put his 3
sim into another phone, they said no, it wouldn't work. So he asked if he could up...

style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Why do people constantly get scarred away from Australia by

Hi all, On Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 8pm (local time wherever you are) a lot of cities and
businesses around the world will turn ALL lights off for 1 hour. Aka all appliances will be turned
off, and the CBD's will be plunged into darkness (I think street lights will be kept on though).

These are actual questions send to an Australian Tourism website, send by potential visitors of the
country. The answers are made by the website officials, who have a good sense of humour. Q: how do
the plants grow? (UK). A: We import all plants fully grown and then just sit around watching them
die. Q: Will I be able to see kangaroos in the street? (USA) A: Depends how much you've been
drinking. Q: I want to walk from Perth to Sydney - can I follow the railroad tracks? (Sweden) A:
Sure, it's only three thousand miles - take lots of water. Q: Is it safe to ...
Democracy
- in Australia. A debate (3)
Democracy is good according to many influential people, but at times personally I have never felt
like I am in a democracy. What are my options? A Coalition government that can be anti-labour one
day, and then look like they may pro-labour stance the next. The federal Labour party that seem to
be in the middle, but have they got a clear policy!?! Oh and the slow but gradual decline of the
democrat influence in the senate which apparently was meant "to keep the *BLEEP*s honest". I fall
somewhere between middle class and lower class, also am a p/t uni student and get hit ...

Stargate Sg1
- Season 9 has been on for 4 weeks so far in Australia (0)
Well i am a MASSIVE fan of Stargate SG1 series and I think that Jack leaving SG1 was a bad idea at
first but I guess they cant always keep same people on, and the guy who replaced him (cant remember
his name) but I thought that Jack was so funny, the combination of him and Teal'c was a very
funny mix, Teal'c being an alien at start and not knowing alot of Earth things, it was just very
hilarious. Well I thought the sow would lose it's funny side with Jack gone but the new guy
replaced him and is a funny guy to, well i guess its whats written in the script. Bu...

I think it's a great country I have been over seas to europe and still call australia home.
It's so much more of a relaxed enviroment and we don't live to work, we work to live
/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />. We all enjoy a
