Very interesting idea. They have partnered with companies that get over 60 million people a month. So there is pretty much no doubt that you will get that 1000 hits. They pretty much get free traffic to their site and the participants get free traffic as well! Ingenious!

Sounds good if you want to put up your search engine rank, out of those 1,000 visitors though maybe 10 will actually go to your site regularly after that. I sort of wonder though if for some reason you didn't get 1000 hits if you would get the $1000 or would they have some excuse for it. You would have to read any terms and conditions really carefully before doing that. I'll stick with an affiliate system.

You can use rotators and what not to get 1000 visitors in a day no problem and no one will ever come back to your site afterwards. Could be a scam.

It's probably not targeted traffic, so it would just be traffic for traffic's sake. I'm not too impressed myself, but if someone has a different experience, please let us all know.
