Unless its a ground breaking program, not many people will want to buy it. I suggest releasing it open source, it is a great way for people to get involved with yoru program.
i also wanted to sell out the vb programmes made by me.

You can bid for work, you get a project, you make it, and you get paid for it. If, on the other hand, you wish to sell existing software, you made your self, there isn't one place to do it. You can try some larger software sites, build your own site, and things like that...
I think the solution is simple. Just create website about your software product. And keep promotion, so many people know your site and your product that you wanna sell.
Maybe I suggest http://download.com ... You have to pay to post it up but they have over 1 million hits a day.
I not like sell my vb product, but i like to distribute my usefull vb application to my friends!!!
