| | Well first of all I would like to know what you think is the best audio format?
Meaning stuff like asf, mpeg, wav, mp3, wma, rm, ogg, atrac... and blah blah blah
and for that particular audio format, what's the best encoder for it?
I just discovered my mp3 player could read asf files so i started searching for an encoder, couldn't find one.
I'm seriously taking a look at the LameEncoder for mp3 apperently it only takes about 128kps to rival with cd quality sound while the windows media codec needs 320kps. |

wav, come on, lossless .wav, and ofcorse sndrec32.exe

OGG format will be slightly smaller in filesize of the same quality. It's open-source and free too. I choose MP3 codec because it is widely available, its players, songs etc. OGG however is not so common. There's no standard players for OGG yet and you can't find OGG files easily anywhere.

At this point, I'm going with WMA format. The reason is simple: my current interest is revolving around DVD creation for my work and home. And instead of creating a real DVD player format, most of the times I am saving directly as a file. With Windows Media Player 9 Encoder, I can add Dolby 5.1 surround sounds to my mpeg4 video. And the best of all, it's free. Now, you can't tell me that's not good enough. Hee hee. The compression ratio of WAM to DIVX is almost comparable. There's been many tries to make DIVX Dolby 5.1 capable but with so many add-ons you have to do, I think WMA Encoder is simple enough that anyone can just click and add.

I use RazorLame to encode my MP3s, but I'd seriously doubt that there is any encoder that can get near CD quality audio at 128kbps.

Just MP3 And MP3 and MP3 I think after 1000 Years MP3 is first Because Many softwares link winamp and .. support it You can easy convert MP3 file to other format and ... Many CD players support it

on my Mobile, rm format is also good. its small. same quality( guess how) and eats up less space.

Conver Divx Media Format To .avi
(2) Ok, well i have two questions, and the first one is: If i am going to burn a Movie that i have on
my computer to a DVD+R Disk so i can play it in a DVD player, does the video file need to be in a

Windows Media Player Made My Video Audio Out Of Sync
(3) Ok, well i have been working on this project for about a week now, lol i have like 40 video files
that i cut the beginning minute, and last 10 seconds off of the videos. i am using windows movie
maker to do this in, and well i just finished cutting all of the files, and i went to play them....
and like the first half is absoloutly fine, but the second half, the audio gets all out of sync with
the video it is about a second behind the video. any ideals on how i can fix this? maybe i need to
re-encode all of the files again, or somthing else, i dont know plz help /biggr....

(10) Ok, well recently i downloaded a little snippet of somthing that i couldn't find anywhere else,
and i wish i could have found it somewhere else because the snippet is in .cue/.bin video image
format.. and that is not exactly what i want... i know how to play it, i used VLC media player to
play the file, but now i want to write it to a CD but i do not want to keep VLC media player on my
computer or install it on any computer i want to play this file on... so i was hoping to convert
icue/.bin files to somthing like what the rest of what i have is which is .avi i h....

Video And Audio Resynchronization
(4) Ok guys. I got a problem. I just got a new camera but when i take a video with it and put it on my
computer the speech is delayed for about a second. So the persons lips start moving and a sec later
the speech starts. Is there any way to fix this without having to buy any software? I have some
video software already but i don't think you can use it to match up speech and video. Any help

Looking for software (10) So I'm not quite ready to spend $1500 on a Boss BR-1600 Digital Recording Studio package...and I
know there are many options for recording music through the computer...my biggest concern is
compatibility, quality, and actually I guess...ease of use? I've heard of things like the
Tascam US-122 which works through the USB port, and you can plug guitars and mics directly into this
thing, but for the most part, everything else is done software-wise...on the computer. Anyone have
an idea of the quality of these kind of products? I also know there's a new simila....
Wavepad
for audio editing (0) WavePad is pretty basic but good software for music junkies. If you don't like parts of a song
then take it out. Want to do mash-ups like on the radio all you have to do is select the part you
want then select the part you want it to mix with the click "edit" -> "paste mix". it's really
cool. The program itself, i think, is open source, so if you want to change something then you can.
This is the second program i tried to mix songs together. The first was Audicity which is availible
from www.audicity.sourceforge.com it seems almost exact except i wasn't able....
Freeware Audio Mixer/synthesizer?
(3) I was just curious if there was a good one of these which is also user friendly to a beginner. I

(12) Does anyone know of any decent/good freeware(or cheap software ~$10) that will allow me to edit
