hi friends, i've made a new design for my new webiste Xatre.info.
I need your opinions and suggstions to improve the site design. I just need suggstions for site design, customisation, colors etc. I'll add contents and links only after the design is finalised. I like the first layout better. The only thing I can suggest right now, sence there is nothing on the website, is to fix the search button. It's a little to high.

I like the first layout more too and yeah KuBi is right, the search button is a bit too high. The only changes I would say are :- 1) Reduce the size of the dashed border of the content div. 2) And change the font in which this is showed - "Copyright © 2007. Xatre Info Tech, India. All rights reserved." - to maybe Tahoma or MS Sans Serif which will make it look more professional and aesthetic. 3) Add a gradient matching background if you can which will make it look better. I think the current design of your website is much better than the alternate design.
I feel the images next to each image on the navigation bar improve the website. They make the website more interesting than when there's just plain links (or images as links) like the alternate design. In my opinion, both of the designs look professional. I feel the only person who should decide which design to use is the website creator (yourself). It's no use creating and using a design which you're not going to like. I don't feel it makes a lot of difference which design you use. I like the images next to the navigation links, however, others wouldn't. I think it's all down to personal preference. Keep up the good work. I also like the banner. A lot of websites don't have a professional banner which fits in nicely with the background, your website however seems to be an exception. |

finally I've come up with a final layout design, i need your suggestions before I add the content.

Your design is really neat and I like it a lot! It is very simple but not too simple so it is still interesting. I am glad you picked this theme
