A recent member here at trap17, aimed me awhile ago and asked if i wanted his ideas for a tutorial/web design site. I said yes, i took his old html site and turned it inside out and got this great swish site, let me know what you think. I am still adding tutorials to this site, if you have any you would like to contribute let me know. I would be glad to add them.

Well its not bad but I it doesn’t have much content and I cant really judge since its new but I do have a few suggestions.

1. Website is too squarish
2. The logo on top of the forums should take up the whole top space. not just a portion of the left because it leaves a big area to its right.
3. The ads on the forums page should blend in with the whole theme of the website so you might want to change the colors a bit.
4. The tutorials are very short, it doesn’t really explain step by step or how everything works... its more of just like "this is the code" and "this is what you get"
5. I really don't like that navigation because for a flash website its kind of basic. Might want to for example add more effect... curve the edges. or do something with them because it just looks like 5 simple rectangles with a bit of flash.
6. In the tutorials section make the background that the tutorial names are on a little bigger so that the letters don't stick out.
7. On your Gallery page the word "others" does not show up and the only way to see it is by highlighting and dragging down. (Viewing on IE)
8. You might want to raise the website a little up so that the scroll bar would be removed.
9. In the Gallery section when you click on an image for it to show a bigger picture... there is a short delay but if you look closely it says

Loading
(number)%

But the number and the word loading kind of combine on one another and the number goes on top of the word loading.

Thanks for the feedback, I will take all of this stuff to mind and build off of them. Great input, and thank you for expressing your mind.

Here are my opinions, the gradient is pretty cool and used well, the banner dosen't look to good quality, i like the layout with the news at the top, and a picture of map, wow those pics are good (in the gallery)

Ok good try but here is some improvements you got to make:

1. Turn your free PHPBB forum into the proper thing so go and download it of this website: http://www.phpbb.com

2. Change to ad colour because it doesn't look good with the website.
