WinUpdatesList v1.11
QUOTE WinUpdatesList displays the list of all Windows updates (Service Packs and Hotfixes) installed on your local computer. For hotfix updates, this utility also displays the list of files updated with these hotfixes. In addition, it allows you to instantly open the Web link in Microsoft Web site that provides more information about the selected update, uninstall an update, copy the update information to the clipboard, or save it to text/HTML/XML file. Download: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wul_setup.exe I Think this tools is very very usefull for windows os users, so, enjoy this one. |

Microsoft provides email notifications too when there's new updates or patch to Windows OS or other Microsoft products...
So what's the true idea of WinUpdatesList? Isn't it the same? Oh but anyway, it's a freeware.. No harm trying it.. Just that I think its more secure to get updates the microsoft way using the Windows Update feature... |

The idea of this tools is that you can see all the updates in a graphic where you can remove an update that's causing conflit, also to take control of the updates that you have and the ones you should have, and much more cool functions.
I think this tool is very good to admins that want to take complete control of the system updates because that insures a more secure system, don't you think? Now you understand how good this tool is? And more, this is a small tool that takes just a litle bit of memory(ram) and that is very rare in this days. |

Works with Windows XP but it shows more updates aren't in the Add or Remove Program List when you check "Show Updates". It also shows you what files are updated with that update so experts can probably find the program and uninstall that update if there is a problem.
