Hey everyone, I have one more question. I have just purchased a windows media PC with the ability of recording TV shows. Now, out of curiousity, is there a possible wireless setup that would enable me to view the prerecorded shows in a different room? In other words, without the use of wires, is there some kind of imitated gateway or router sort of thing that'll 'transfer' the prerecorded show which originates from my computer in one room to another computer ( or simply a television ) in another room? If there is no such thing, is there an alternate way to view the show (on a television) in the other room with wires (preferably without the use of a xbox 360)?

QUOTE Linksys Dual-Band Wireless A/G Media Center Extender WMCE54AG - digital multimedia receiver -- by Linksys The Linksys Dual-Band Wireless A/G Media Center Extender lets you bring the digital entertainment available through and stored on your Windows Media Center PC to your Home Entertainment Center, without running cables through the house. Using a Wireless-A, Wireless-G, or wired Ethernet connection, the Media Center Extender displays home-made or downloaded digital movies and your digital photographs on the TV for the whole family to enjoy. And your digital music collection is finally freed from those little… That will do the trick. My friend has one and he likes it alot. His HD tv is not conveniently located next to his computer so he uses this to watch recorded tv. |
