There have always been controversies over this topic, that wether Googe or Yahoo! should be given the title 'King of Search Engines'

i think that google should be because you get mor accurate and up to date tuff with google.
you can search for plagerisim on google, but not on yahoo because yahoo doesn't have the millions of sites that google has on it's listings.. next to the fact google crawls peoples sites 40000000x more than other bots |

Well, Internationally speaking I would have to say google. Epecially because of its simplicity, It is just a search engine and not a page full of news, and other information plus a search engine. I really never use the yahoo search engine, and neither do many of the people I know. Whenever its time to search for something the first place and sometimes the only place they look for is in the google search engine, and whenever its homework related, besides using google, people look in homework related websites also. So I guess Yahoo as a search engine mainly applies in the United States, but here in Mexico I really think its weak. Here Yahoo is mainly known for its mail service, but Gmail has really beaten it now in that area also.

Seriously, its been years since the last time I used Yahoo as a search engine. So I suppose it has advanced a lot and who knows, I canīt say 100% that Google is better. But I am used to Google and his cleanliness and I donīt see myself using another search engine. Probably if someone developed a good one that were not part of a big enterprise (something like wikipedia for example) and it were good enough, I would try it. But I donīt want to replace Google with a Yahoo, Msn or whatever.

Google is really the winner. It is a good search engine.
The feature I like most is that they show text ads so my monthly internet bill will be low with Google Search. In some thread here I have seen that Yahoo searches faster than Google, but still I will vote for Google. |

Well, there is actually no discussion needed as Google is the clean winner, I never remember using Yahoo! and none of my friends do, I only use Yahoo! for its messenger as I like it and majority of us Indians use Yahoo! as Google was not in the news and here majority of the people are not that geeky to know the importance of Google, for them if something looks more aesthetic, it is better.
Anyways, maybe Yahoo! has improved since my last search but still you cant beat Google down. Anyways, I will surely check Yahoo! search out and if it is good, then I might state it but I think currently nothing can beat Google, Google rocks, everything affiliated with Google is like already certified to rock!

Google all the way. Yahoo takes forever to load on older systems and has too much "junk" on the search page, google give results and deserves to be "king"
