too much fuss? not enough fuss?
I personally don't really have an opinion on the matter in Tibet, because I do not really understand what is happening. What the real question is, should there be a commotion about it regarding the Torch Relay??? I'd like to hear what some people think on the matter, cause I'm not really sure myself. PS: sorry if this was already discussed, I'm new to these forums =( |

Welcome to Trap17 Max!
The only thing I heard the news media mentioning about the running of the torch is how in some areas, there were protesters, along some of the routes. Very little else was mentioned, which I find rather sad, as it is a time honered tradition and of some interest, but the media only chose to give it a cursory mention. Very little footage of the actual running, and really not much background info as to why it was being protested. I had to ask hubby why they were even protesting in the first place. I don't watch a lot of news, find it too depressing. |
